Anfield Stadium⭐️ A dream come true!
Last week I told you about my adventure to the city of Liverpool, England..
As I promised, today I will tell you about my visit to one of the most important places in the city -
Anfield Stadium
When I finished walking around the center of Liverpool, I headed to the stadium, which was actually my main goal. The stadium was 3 miles/5km from the city center and I decided to walk to it.
Walking to the stadium I enjoyed the views. I thought it's going to rain all the time, but in the end it doesn't rain.
As I approached the stadium and could see its lights, I began to flutter even more.
A minute later I saw this famous bar “The park”,where before matches Liverpool fans gather to sing songs and drink beer.
It was time to face the Mythical Anfield 🏴
As this banner says Liverpool fans have their own Home :) It is more than a stadium.
One of the most emblematic tribunes in the world - The Kop.
I entered to the Museum and to the tour centre to check how can I have a tour :)
The group tour cost me about £20 and it started from the museum.
This is Liverpool FC first logo.
I saw a lot of cups and titles there, but definitely the thing that interested me the most were the ball and the buttons of some of the players from the match that made me a supporter of the Liverpool team.
This match is MILAN-LIVERPOOL in which Liverpool won after penalties, after losing 3-0 at the half time. This is one of the most unforgettable moments for every football supporter.
There is a rumor that a Liverpool fan bet £400 000 on the team and committed suicide at half time after the team fell. In the end, he won and his wife and children inherited the winnings.
After visiting the museum, it was time to visit the entire stadium.
In Bulgaria, most of our stadiums are in poor condition, but here we are talking about another level.
At this stadium, even the toilets are inscribed with coaches quotes.
Finally, it's time to step into one of the most remarkable facilities in England - Anfield Stadium
The feeling was amazing!!!
WE ARE LIVERPOOL-The King of Europe 👑
THE KOP was named the noisiest grandstand in the world!
Every fan of the team sees this view from their TV during a match. Well, then it's full of people.
New Balance is the official sponsor of the team for this and their name is written on the seats.
Of course I took selfies, but unfortunately the front camera of this phone was not good.
The grass is like a green carpet.
After we finished looking at the stadium itself, we headed to the locker rooms.
We entered the locker room, where the players change before each match.
Of course, in the dressing room there is a place for the T-shirt of a Liverpool legend - SteveN GERRARD who was a longtime captain.
I was very happy to have the opportunity to look at it all.
Funny thing: From one of the windows you can see the stadium of Liverpool's city rival, which is Everton. That's why all the windows have red dots, which is the official goal of the team.
The last thing I saw was the press conference room, where the current manager Jurgen Klopp gives interviews after every game. An interesting fact is that the club receives 30 million per season for these interviews.
This was my visit to Anfield Stadium. I know there aren't many football fans in @esteemapp, but I also know someone like @liverpool-fan ; @koychev22 and @noopu will loved the post. Every person has a passion, mine is definitely football.
