Food Fair on First Day
If there is one thing that adds up to the great experience I had during my first day at the university for the new academic year, it's the mouthwatering food that doesn't only satisfy my eyes but also my taste bud.
These food stalls are situated in front of the students' park in our college and for someone like me who's fond of food like these, it's definitely an ideal place to satisfy my cravings.
As the students are funneled through the entrance, I can't hide my excitement to see each food. It's only a matter of a few moments until I finally see every single food in it. However, my mood suddenly changed when I realized I didn't have the budget to taste everything.
From various Filipino dishes to delicacies and other food like takoyaki, shawarma, and the like, my attention was caught, so I bought some of it. It's been a while since the last time I got to experience such a thing, so it's really a fantastic one.
As soon as the shawarma caught my eye, I suddenly felt hungry. Who wouldn't be attracted by its scrumptious and calling look?
Anyway, why is it called shawarma? Is it because it's warm? What if it's cold? Will it then become shacolda? Just kidding.
What I bought was Shawarma Java Rice. It costs 60 in Philippine currency and it's about 1.05 when converted into dollars. It's already quite costly for me, but since it's just once in a while, I pampered my craving.
Look at these Takoyakis that is being cooked. As I went closer, it was the smell that made me more hungry. It's very welcoming and such a scenario could really make you buy.
These ones are Japanese Pancake. They are tasty as well and their scent is really good. There are a few food stalls within that used to sell this before, but I don't know if they are still selling it there. The last time I saw the place, it was vacant. Good thing it was here today.
After buying our desired food, my friends and I went to our university's canteen, which I have shown you a glimpse of in my yesterday's post. Good thing, there is still a vacant table when we arrived there. We spent some more minutes in there before going back to our room.
I had a great time appreciating the food fair. It's quite small as compared to the previous ones before, but it's understandable. What is important is that I was able to satisfy my craving yesterday. Until next time!

Its true. Who won't drool for Shawarma? It looks and taste heaven.😍 Your 60 pesos was so worth it. Enjoy! ✨😊
Napatingin nga rin po ako bigla ng makita ko haha.
For sure, you had fun buying and eating such delicious foods there, especially the Shawarma. Shawarma has always been my favorite food even though it costs a bit, but worth to buy.
Anyway, how I wish we could have a food fair at our university too. But it's not possible since I think we don't have a business management-related course.
