the Acehnese traditional Rumoh Museum

Hi all friends!!!

On this occasion I would like to write about the Acehnese traditional Rumoh Museum. On this day I went to the city of Lhokseumawe to see the condition of the Acehnese traditional house which has been made into a museum by the Lhokseumawe city government. This Acehnese traditional house has been around for several years, but this house is very beautiful from the outside.

This Acehnese traditional house is also very rarely found now, both in cities and in villages. The times are growing, people are making homes with a minimalist shape because nowadays the house is trending like that, both in cities and in villages. Even though this Aceh traditional house is very beautiful and very cool, we can see it.

This traditional Aceh house is also made of wood with a height of about 2 meters from the ground and the roof of this house is also made with thatch leaves. As I share in the photo below, you can see this Acehnese traditional house and several types of Acehnese traditional goods such as krong pade, jeungki, Rangkang(hall) and Geudrang.

By looking at this house, I really remember the history of Aceh when it fought against the Dutch colonialists, they tried to expel them from the land, so let's get to know the history of our respective countries and even preserve the customs that exist in our hometown. each of us because by looking at this house, I really miss my childhood because there are many houses like this aceh house.

Maybe that's all for this post, see you in my next post.

Regards,
@mack99

The traditional house in Aceh, Indonesia is known for its unique architectural style and cultural significance. These houses, also known as "rumoh Aceh," are typically made of wood and feature tall, pointed roofs, elevated flooring, and intricate carving and ornamental details. They are built on stilts, with the living quarters located above and storage or livestock areas underneath. The design of the traditional Acehnese house reflects the region's history and influences from both Islamic and indigenous cultures, and is considered an important part of Aceh's cultural heritage. In recent years, efforts have been made to preserve these traditional houses and promote their cultural significance.

This museum is such a classic style. The traditional view with the traditional museum is how it is perfectly make with wooden. Even though it seems likely to be just a house, but unique how the wooden is still stay without much destroyed so that next generation can watch how the house during the last period look like
