Hey guys, my name is Maryjane, you can call me Mjayš
Iām an Igbo girl from IMO state, Nigeria hence my Hive name Cheewendu. Iām an English student of the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
As a kid, whenever I was asked what I wanted to be in the future, I didn't really know what to answer, I'd say in my mind "can't I wait for the future to come so I will figure it out"...
Sometimes I just say a random profession just to escape the inquisitive ears of the adults. I loved the actors on television, admired the elegant looking bankers, enjoyed listening and watching musicians do their thing on stage,I wanted to be like them. Loved and hated some of my teachers because they'd always flog me. Whenever I read my novels it'll inspire me to write too, I loved paintings and artworks, so I'd usually draw during my free time. Like a free bird, there were many height I could reach.
Now the future is here and guess who still don't know what to beā¦Meš Each passing day I see who and things I don't want to be, that has shaped me into who I am today. So, while still figuring out what I want to be, I realized I'm already a lot of awesome goodness.
Talk about versatility and you should hear my name first five. If you donāt hear it, you might need to pay more attention next time.
In the Content creation umbrella... youād catch me singing, oh! What would we have done without music?
Acting I believe is a talent God has bestowed on me.
Cooking is something I enjoy doingā¦taste my food and youāll come for more.
I write too, because a lot of things the mouth canāt say, the pen can.
Makeup, photography and lots more Iām yet to unravel.
Youād catch me goofing around most of the time. Iām an Optimist, I runaway from any form of negative vibes because you are what you surround yourself with.
Heard of this platform from my friend @didiee early days of 2022. I tried to join so many times to no avail due to some situation, but quitters never winā¦so here I am!
Having somewhere I can put out my work and learn too is a great pleasure. I hope to build good friendship, network, earn and maybe find love(you never knowš).

Welcome on board, Mjay. Nice to know you are from Imo. I have a couple of friends who are from there too and a few are in this blockchain.
Since you are an English student, writing poems, articles and book reviews would suit you and really be great for you. Just put up energy and few sacrificial time for it. You would excel here. There's no limit to what you can achieve here.
Meanwhile, I am also looking forward to seeing some of your artwork here. You can harness your skills by sharing with us.
You did mention singing too; There is an African music community called AfriTune where you can sing and share you videos there.
