Estamos a pocos días de celebrar el día de la Madre, fecha donde se hace un homenaje a esas maravillosas mujeres que nos dieron la vida y nos aman de manera incondicional, no hay amor más grande que el de una madre por su hijo, ahora que formo parte de ese selecto grupo de mujeres doy testimonio de esa aseveración.

¿Que significado tiene para ti la palabra madre?

Para mi madre tiene un significado muy hermoso e importante, es esa mujer que nos acompaña desde nuestro nacimiento, nos alimenta y cuida, nos ama y procura darnos todo lo que necesitamos para crecer como personas de bien útiles a la sociedad. Una madre es sacrificio, entrega, amor incondicional por sus hijos, consejo, protección y sobre todo lucha para procurar lo necesario para que sus hijos crezcan saludables.

¿Que anécdotas tienes de tu madre?

Yo soy la mayor la mayor de mis hermanos, nací antes de lo esperado ya que soy sietemesina y mi mamá siempre me cuenta que cabía en una caja de zapato de lo pequeña que yo era. Anécdotas tengo muchas, mi mamá no es una mujer muy cariñosa pero admiro su fortaleza, nada la derrumba y es muy estoica.

Mamá nunca nos dio responsabilidades en la casa, como botar la basura o ayudar en alguna tarea del hogar, yo me di cuenta de esto cuando escuchaba de mis amigas decir todo lo que hacían en su casa y me sentí sorprendida, así que una vez le pregunté a mi mamá por qué no teníamos responsabilidades y ella me respondió que mi única responsabilidad era estudiar, que cuando me casara tendría que hacer todas esas cosas, que disfrutara de ser soltera.

Mi mamá no es muy buena en la cocina y espero que no lea esto, hace un pollo guisado horrible, yo le digo que parece pollo remojado, jajajaja. Celebramos el día de la madre en familia, somos 4 hermanos y cada uno de nosotros lleva a casa de mi mamá comida para compartir, la mayoría de las veces hacemos un almuerzo. Otras entre todos le compramos un lindo regalo a mi mamá o simplemente cada uno le lleva un detalle, la idea es compartir y hacerla sentir especial ese día.

I have many anecdotes, my mother is not a very affectionate woman but I admire her strength, nothing about her brings her down and she is very stoic.

Mom never gave us responsibilities around the house, like taking out the garbage or helping with some housework, I realized this when I heard my friends say everything they did at home and I felt surprised, so once I told her I asked my mom why we didn't have responsibilities and she told me that my only responsibility was to study, that when I got married I would have to do all those things, that I should enjoy being single.

How do you celebrate Mother's Day?

We celebrate Mother's Day as a family, we are 4 brothers and each one of us brings food to my mother's house to share, most of the time we have lunch. Others among all of us we buy a nice gift for my mom or simply each one brings her a gift, the idea is to share and make her feel special that day.
