Greetings dear hivers, I recently visited the central area of my city Maracaibo, specifically I was walking through the old central hospital and its surroundings, it seems that time stopped there and its colonial constructions contrast with the new buildings.

In the photographs you can see the façade of the oldest Hospital in Maracaibo, called Hospital Dr. Urquinaona, created as the "Casa de la Beneficencia" inaugurated in the year 1608. Its colonial architecture is still present despite the many renovations that have taken place. been subjected to, it still retains that old-fashioned charm and understated modesty.

Standing in front of the enormous doors of the Hospital, I felt small and thought of all those artisans who made it, as well as the entire building. Here I share some photographs and we will meet in future publications.

Happy hivers day.
