My Daily Rising Star Report #31

Hello again, Rockstars!

This will be my 31st blog post presenting my daily earnings and achievements in Rising Star. πŸ˜€

Damn, I guess I have reached a month straight of posting Rising Star Blogs! 😯
I think the only notable change was that a month ago, I wasn't a Starbits MIllionaire. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

A month ago, I was just a humble busker, still finding out ways on how to reach that millionaire mission sooner.

One way I thought about was to make posts on hive and eventually the income from the blogs I would exchange for starbits.
So then, I made my first post, "4 Mistakes You Can Easily Avoid In Rising Star". πŸ˜† I made the title as clickbaity as I could haha

After I made that, I went over to every post-promotion thread in discord or just any thread that allowed shilling of posts, really.
I came across Hive Pizza, and tried to shill my post at the #risingstar thread.

Afterwards, I got some feedback from a long time player of Rising Star, @jay63.
He tells me my posts are okay, but points a few things that don't sit right with him.
One of those is about me discouraging people of buying fans and indulge in instruments instead. He then explains to me why and links me to his posts to get a better understanding.

Going over his posts, my view still hasn't changed (sorry jay), but one thing is I've learned things like proper routines and more about ego in his posts, in which i think more players should know about.

I scrolled a bit further down his old posts, and saw this,

ˑⁱⁿᡏ α΅—α΅’ α΅–α΅’Λ’α΅—

This is where I found the game changer for me, the solution to getting my million starbits sooner!

To summarize, in this post he has mentioned of earning over a million starbits in just 1 month!
Crazy right?
How he does this is by taking advantage of the seasonal mission by spamming the missions to make maximum drops of instruments and then selling it out in the market or to whales who would buy them for a hefty price!

I knew there was an upcoming seasonal event in early April, Easter Season.
So days before the event, I followed @jay63's advices and stacked some cold pizza slices, over 20 pizza slices infact. I knew it had to be a requirement to never run out of energy to make maximum drops of instruments. A 200k risk in starbits to get a chance of a million starbits in a month, crazy I know. πŸ˜‚

At the first day of the event, Jay helped me getting an S34 Pascala in which I traded for 20k starbits which gave me a headstart on these missions.

I was able to sell it almost immediately after getting my first drop!

I got more drops after a few days and sold it off immediately in the market

The starbits I was making were very good for the first 2 weeks.
Everything got sold above 10k starbits in which by then I may have already made over 200k starbits enough to pay for the extra pizzas that I bought!
😁

But in week 3 and 4 the prices of these instruments steadily plummeted.
Since whales have already bought in the first 2 weeks, demand of from this instruments were getting lesser and it didn't help when word got out about this minting strategy, in which supplies for these instruments pumped. πŸ˜… More supply, less demand = low prices.

I was still able to sell for just above 5k in the last few weeks which seems fair, because I have reached my ROI already.

I was pretty lucky as I was getting like 1-2 instruments per day.

Nearing the end of the month I have amassed over 600k starbits from selling and all that's left to do was also sell the pizzas.
Added with a few starbits from my own savings, I was now able to amount to a million starbits, enough to request for a millionaire's card. 😁

Whoo that was a long story! πŸ˜… I hope ya'll are still able to keep up with my report πŸ˜† Just a little bit more to go.. πŸ˜…

So for my daily report, here's my current status:

untitled_design_8_.gif

Level: 64 (1147/3250 exp)
Fans : 2165
Luck : 319
Skill : 10396
IM: 19
Total Cards : 80
Ego %: 0

Fans are at 2165 with over 400+ drunk fans 🍺

Luck still at 319

Skill remained at 10396.

IM remained at 23.

Ego remained at a stable 0%

Missions report:

image.pngimage.pngimage.png

I've gained 5647 starbits and 117 ego. πŸ™‚
Average RNG rolls for starbits today hehe but still pretty good πŸ˜€

Goal is still gaining exp steadily to get to level 75.
I'm rethinking about buying orchestral instruments, sure they are cheaper but much more harder to sell in the future.. due to it being only usable for lvl 75 players in music lessons. πŸ€”

Anyways, that's all for now guys!

Thanks for reading and hope you make a Rising star progress report/blog of your own. I would really love to see it! πŸ˜„

No problem :) .
What I propose is a solution like any other.
It's true that it's just unfortunate this drastic drop in the price of season cards.
Apart from the laws of the market (supply / demand), there was, a few months back before the massive arrival of Splinterlands players, a kind of tacit agreement between the players which kept the prices relatively high , regardless of the cards .
In addition, and there I can not say why (I have a small idea all the same), the "rarity" value of the cards has been completely destroyed in favor only of their "statistical" value. Given the drop rate of "Epics" for example, it is incomprehensible that they are selling today on a fair price based on their statistics. At the time when I played the Christmas mission, it was mainly thanks to the resale of this kind of card drawn in the packs that I was able to open a lot of packs.
It will be very hard today to find a "rarity" value on the cards, it's sad.

I agree. Rarity is almost useless right now.
Because even if you have pulled an Epic card from a pack, that epic card would not be so "epic" anymore once you see there's a lot like it in the market.
Especially this one

An Epic card going for 77 starbits per luck and 29 for sale at the market.
