Hello awesome people on HiveopenMic! I welcome you all once again to HiveopenMic Week 145. A brand new opportunity to express our selves musically with suggested themes.
For this week, we have the theme of Glory.

Reflecting on this theme, it came to my mind that when ever the word, glory is mentioned, one easily thinks about a supreme being who has dominion. As a Christian, the first thing that come to my mind when I hear the word Glory is the majesty of God.

Any thing or being that is worthy of praise, adoration or applause can be said to be glorious. On the other hand, since God is worthy of praise, adoration and applause, it follows to say that he is glorious. For this, He deserves to be glorified with songs.

So in response to the theme of the week, I will sing a French song which I learnt from a Choir, known as Sainte Thérèse de l'enfant jesus, when I was in East Africa, Burundi to be precise. The title of this song is, gloire à Dieu au plus haut des cieux which means, glory to God, in the highest of heavens.
From the title, you can already tell that it is a song that gives glory and honour to God.
