Beautiful memories of my second birthday party (ESP/ENG)

Hello, how are you? I am back this week to share with you one more of my precious memories, this time it is about my second birthday party and, believe it or not, the first memories I keep in my life belong to that specific day, they are not very lucid memories since I was exactly 2 years old, but they allow me today to explain in a way how a small child perceives the world, since I remember many details that may seem irrelevant but in reality they aren't for me.

This photo is a bit faded but it's still possible to understand the context, it's a costume party, as my birthday is in February and sometimes coincides with carnival dates. I am dressed up as a rag doll as my mum thought it was a rather appropriate costume for a little girl (I am the girl with the pink dress and the flowers on my head), the man holding me is my dad and the woman on my right is my mum.

I remember very clearly the joyful atmosphere, the children running around the house, the world was very new to me at that time so there were things I couldn't understand, for example, why we were all there, yet it wasn't something I cared too much about, I just knew I was having a good time, I even remember at some point I raised my arms for my mum to hold me and I could feel her very, very tall, she was gigantic 😄 and I also particularly remember the moment when they took these pictures, I really liked that my aunt made herself up like a little rag doll to pose with my cousin (dressed in yellow) and me.

I don't remember exactly how it was the moment of cutting the cake but I remember perfectly that I really liked its appearance and in fact I thought it was a toy as it had a little doll, plus sugar flowers and grass that was actually shredded coconut, although I didn't know it, so I was very angry when they took the doll out of my hand, and probably for that reason I have that face in the first picture 🤣.

I also remember this photo taken of me with my cousin Erika and my cake.

Well, that's all for today, this is an activity that I really enjoy because it allows me to travel back in time and relive wonderful experiences that will remain in my memory forever, that marked a happy stage of my life and for which I am infinitely grateful to God. 😌 😊

Hola ¿Cómo están? Estoy de vuelta esta semana para compartir con ustedes uno más de mis valiosos recuerdos, en esta ocasión se trata de mi segunda fiesta de cumpleaños y, lo crean o no, los primeros recuerdos que guardo en mi vida pertenecen a ese día en específico, no son recuerdos demasiado lúcidos ya que yo estaba cumpliendo exactamente 2 años de vida, pero me permiten a día de hoy explicar de cierta forma como es que percibe el mundo un niño tan pequeño, ya que recuerdo muchos detalles que tal vez pudieran parecer irrelevantes pero en realidad no lo son para mi.

Esta foto está un poco descolorida pero de todos modos es posible entender el contexto, es una fiesta de disfraces, ya que mi cumpleaños es en febrero y algunas veces coincide con las fechas de carnaval. Yo estoy disfrazada de muñequita de trapo ya que mi mamá creyó que era un disfraz bastante apropiado para una niña pequeña (soy la niña con el vestido rosado y las flores en la cabeza), el hombre que me sostiene en brazos es mi papá y la mujer que está a mi derecha es mi mamá.

Recuerdo con mucha claridad el ambiente alegre, los niños corriendo por la casa, el mundo era muy nuevo para mi en ese entonces así que había cosas que no podía entender, por ejemplo, porqué estábamos todos allí, aún así no era algo que me importara demasiado, solo sabía que lo estaba pasando bien, recuerdo incluso que en algún momento alcé mis brazos para que mi mamá me sostuviera y yo la percibía muy pero muy alta, era gigante 😄 y también recuerdo particularmente el momento en que tomaron estas fotografías, pues me gustó mucho que mi tía se maquillara como una muñequita de trapo para posar junto a mi prima (vestida de amarillo) y yo.

No recuerdo exactamente como fue el momento de cortar el pastel pero recuerdo perfectamente que me gustó mucho su apariencia y de hecho yo creía que era un juguete ya que tenía una muñequita, además de flores de azúcar y pasto que en realdad era coco rayado, aunque yo no lo sabía, así que me enojé mucho cuando me quitaron la muñequita de la mano, y probablemente por esa razón tengo esa cara en la primera fotografía 🤣

Y bien, eso es todo por hoy, en verdad esta es una actividad que disfruto mucho porque me permite viajar en el tiempo y revivir experiencias maravillosas que quedarán en mi memoria por siempre, que marcaron una etapa feliz de mi vida y por lo cual agradezco infinitamente a Dios. 😌 😊
