Hello my dear friends of this platform, I decided to participate in this week's contest because I found it particularly interesting as well as useful, because it raises situations that many of us or our friends have gone through, I'm sure that at some point we have all felt disappointed because our posts seem invisible, that no matter how hard we try we don't get the recognition we think we deserve, and to top it off sometimes we've even been accused of PLAGIARISM 😱 even though we don't understand why, since we haven't stolen anything from anyone, that's why @ladiesofhive, through this contest, today offers us the opportunity that hivers with more experience can motivate newbies to continue on the platform, so if you are starting on Hive and you are about to abandon ship, this post could keep you on board to successfully reach the port.
Hola mis queridos amigos de esta plataforma, he decidido participar en el concurso de esta semana porque me pareció particularmente interesante además de útil, ya que nos plantea situaciones por las que muchos de nosotros o nuestros amigos han pasado, estoy segura de que en algún punto todos nos hemos sentido decepcionados porque nuestros post parecen invisibles, que por más que nos esforcemos no obtenemos el reconocimiento que creemos merecer, y para colmo algunas veces hasta nos han acusado de PLAGIO😱 aunque nosotros no entendamos porqué, ya que no le hemos robado nada a nadie, por eso @ladiesofhive, a través de este concurso, hoy nos ofrece la oportunidad de que los hivers con más experiencia puedan motivar a los novatos a continuar en la plataforma, de modo que si estás iniciando en Hive y estás a punto de abandonar el barco, este post podría mantenerte a bordo para que llegues con éxito al puerto.
Below @ladiesofhive presents two scenarios that are quite common among newcomers to the platform, and sometimes even more experienced hivers, but I'm going to give you the reasons why you should stick to your decision to continue here.
A continuación @ladiesofhive nos presenta dos escenarios que son bastante frecuentes entre los novatos en la plataforma, y a veces hasta en los hivers con más experiencia, pero yo les voy a dar las razones por las cuales deberían mantenerse firmes en la decisión de continuar aquí.
Scenario 1: A reputation 52 friend says that she no longer wants to be active in Hive, claiming that she can't make the time, the coin is so low valued, and only a few people ever read her posts. What could you do to encourage and help her to keep trying? Writing tips? Time management? Other?

I would answer that it doesn't matter, the value of the coin always goes up and down all the time, it's just a matter of waiting and having just a little bit of patience, and when you least expect it the value of the coin will increase significantly. I think at the beginning you should take the platform as if it were a school where you will begin to polish your skills as a content creator, first of all you should not create your posts based on what you think people would like to read, but on what you like to create, so that you feel comfortable when it comes to work, this is what you should consider: Do you like making cooking recipes? Do you like writing novels, short stories and poems? Do you like making crafts? Do you like playing video games? Do you love film and television and therefore love to talk about it? Do you love photography?
Yo contestaría que eso no importa, el valor de la moneda siempre sube y baja todo el tiempo, solo es cuestión de esperar y tener solo un poco de paciencia, y cuando menos lo esperes el valor de la moneda se incrementará significativamente. Creo que al principio debes tomar la plataforma como si fuese una escuela donde comenzarás a pulir tus habilidades como creador de contenido, en primer lugar no debes crear tus post en base a lo que crees que a la gente le gustaría leer, sino en lo que a ti te gusta crear, para que te sientas cómodo a la hora de trabajar, esto es lo que debes considerar: ¿Te gusta hacer recetas de cocina? ¿te gusta escribir novelas, relatos y poemas? ¿Te gusta hacer manualidades? ¿Te gusta jugar videojuegos? ¿Amas el cine y la televisión y por eso te encanta hablar de este tema? ¿Te encanta la fotografía?
There are many, many, many communities in which you can feel comfortable, you don't have to pigeonhole yourself in a single topic, you can talk about whatever you want, whenever you want, and to do so you don't need too much time, there are many options you can consider if other activities don't leave you enough time to publish content, for example, you could take your day or days off to develop the topics you want to talk about, write your articles and then you can schedule them to be published when you want, or you can also make your content through videos on the @3speak platform, which will save you some time if the video does not require much editing, and you can also schedule them to be published on the date you choose.
Hay muchas, pero muchísimas comunidades en las que puedes sentirte cómodo, además no tienes que encasillarte en un solo tema, puedes hablar de lo que quieras, cuando quieras, y para hacerlo no necesitas demasiado tiempo, existen muchas opciones que puedes considerar si otras actividades no te dejan el tiempo suficiente para publicar contenido, por ejemplo, podrías tomar tu día o días libres para desarrollar los temas de los que quieras hablar, escribir tus artículos y posteriormente los puedes programar para que se publiquen cuando lo desees, o también puedes hacer tu contenido mediante videos en la plataforma @3speak, lo que te ahorrará algo de tiempo si el video no requiere de mucha edición, y también puedes programarlos para que se publiquen en la fecha que escojas.
On the other hand we must also take into account that when we start on the platform we have little reputation, which is the number that appears next to our profile picture, this means that very few people know our work yet, and therefore it is normal that our publications do not get many rewards or comments, but as we are creating content, as we persevere and are constant in our work, we will increase our reputation and therefore more people will be able to access our content, but meanwhile we can dedicate ourselves to read other publications to support other hivers and in this way we get to know and learn from them, because at the end of the day this is a social network and therefore interaction is very important.
Por otra parte también debemos tomar en cuenta que cuando iniciamos en la plataforma tenemos poca reputación, que es el número que aparece al lado de nuestra foto de perfil, esto significa que muy poca gente conoce nuestro trabajo aún, y por lo tanto es normal que nuestras publicaciones no obtengan muchas recompensas o comentarios, pero a medida que vamos creando contenido, que perseveramos y somos constantes en nuestro trabajo, iremos incrementando nuestra reputación y por ende más personas podrán acceder a nuestro contenido, pero mientras tanto nos podemos dedicar a leer otras publicaciones para apoyar a otros hivers y de esta manera nos damos a conocer y aprendemos de ellos, porque al fin y al cabo esto es una red social y por lo tanto la interacción es muy importante.

Scenario 2: A reputation 58 girl is frustrated over her last post having been downvoted to half it’s payout by a Watchdog account accusing her of plagiarism. She becomes angry and vows to quit Hive. What could you do to help resolve the situation? Tell her to relax? Other? Thoughts?

There are people who have been accused of plagiarism, even today's experienced hivers have once been accused of plagiarism, without them deliberately taking someone else's material with the intention of appropriating it, but there are many things within Hive that are considered plagiarism, like taking a picture from the internet without putting the respective source (the simple fact that you forget to put the location of the image can get you in trouble for plagiarism) even taking your own material (information) from another platform without saying that it is yours and putting the source, I know perfectly well the load of frustration that this can generate in a hiver, it can also make him feel disappointed and obviously it would lower the level of enthusiasm and the desire to publish again, not only because of the fact that you have made a mistake, but because I am aware that there are people within the platform, especially those who act as Hivewatchers, who treat people like criminals and make them feel very bad, even when it is their first infraction and have shown that they have failed due to their little experience on the platform.
Hay personas que las han acusado de plagio, incluso los que hoy en día son hivers experimentados alguna vez tuvieron acusación de plagio, sin que ellos hayan tomado deliberadamente un material de alguien más con la intención de apropiárselo, lo que sucede es hay muchas cosas dentro de Hive que se consideran plagio, como tomar una fotografía de internet sin poner la fuente respectiva (el simple hecho de que se te olvide poner la ubicación de la imagen te puede acarrear problemas de plagio) incluso tomar un material de tu propiedad (información) de otra plataforma sin decir que es tuyo y poner la fuente, también podría considerarse plagio (por absurdo que parezca) sé perfectamente la carga de frustración que esto puede generar en un hiver, también lo puede hacer sentir decepcionado y obviamente bajaría el nivel de entusiasmo y las ganas de volver a publicar, no solo por el hecho de haberte equivocado, sino porque estoy consciente de que hay personas dentro de la plataforma, sobre todo que fungen labores como Hivewatchers, que tratan a las personas como delincuentes y los hacen sentir muy mal, aún y cuando es su primera infracción y de paso han demostrado que han fallar debido a su poca experiencia en la plataforma.
But there are also many people willing to help you and share with you the little or much they know about the platform, there is even a community where they post exclusively material about hive, such as tutorials to learn how to use the platform for example, which could be very useful, once the bad time is over, I would advise you to keep researching as much as you can and use the discord communities to ask about any questions you have before posting, remember that from bad experiences, both your own and others, you can also learn a lot, don't get discouraged and keep going, and you will get stronger and stronger.
Pero también hay mucha gente dispuesta a ayudarte y a compartir contigo lo poco o mucho que sepa sobre la plataforma, incluso existe una comunidad donde se postea exclusivamente material sobre hive, como tutoriales para aprender a usar la plataforma por ejemplo, que podría resultar muy útil, una vez que pase el mal rato, yo aconsejaría que siguieras investigando todo lo que puedas y que uses las comunidades de discord para preguntar acerca de cualquier duda que tengas antes de publicar, recuerda que de las malas experiencias, tanto propias como ajenas, también puedes aprender mucho, no te desanimes y continúa adelante, y así cada vez te volverás más fuerte.

Enthusiasm can be fragile since it is the energy that primarily motivates our writing so as we should be always endeavor to be constructive and respectful before an inflexible HW adjudicator who may just be having a bad day. Being cooperative and willingness can go a long way. I've seen a friend get on their wrong side, It wasn't pretty. But when the process is complete it becomes a milestone to find that we have grown more in it's lessons.
There are many pitfalls but reading the Community guidelines just covers the basics. Every community on Hive should have a Discord server with someone willing to offer advice, answers, or opinions, whether a newbie or veteran blogger.

I totally agree, each community should have its own Discord server to answer questions and clarify the doubts that we all may have, I think that respect should be mutual between HW and Hivers to create a harmonious environment where creativity flows and we feel at ease.
