Holaaaa. Mi inspiración de esta entrada surgió mientras estaba en la ducha, luego de un día compartiendo en familia. Y es que me puse a pensar del significado verdadero de la semana santa, del motivo por el cual vamos a la iglesia, aparte del religioso, que ya muchos conocemos, la razón y el regocijo de celebrar la semana santa, y debido a esa chispa que surgió en medio de mi baño nocturno, decidí escribir mis pensamientos en función de este tema tan particular.

Hellooooo. My inspiration for this post came while I was in the shower, after a day spent with family. And I started to think about the true meaning of Holy Week, the reason why we go to church, apart from the religious one, which many of us already know, the reason and the joy of celebrating Holy Week, and because of that spark that arose in the middle of my night bath, I decided to write my thoughts based on this very particular topic.

The truth is that, when I grew up with my mother, I attended mass to thank God for his blessings, but at the same time it is not something that is traditional every year, like sharing as a family, something we do almost every year. days in that sacred week.

Recuerdo que, nos íbamos todos (o casi todos), a una casa de playa de un tío muy querido, y estábamos allá de domingo a domingo jaja, con excepción de los que trabajaban los primeros días de la semana, se organizaba con anticipación las comidas que se iban a preparar, desayuno, almuerzo y cena, en esos días, o a veces se hacía una alcancía semanas antes para hacer las compras, en fin era una organización completa para una semana entera de playa y regocijo familiar.

I remember that we all (or almost all of us) went to a very dear uncle's beach house, and we were there from Sunday to Sunday haha, with the exception of those who worked the first days of the week, the hours were organized in advance. meals that were going to be prepared, breakfast, lunch and dinner, on those days, or sometimes a piggy bank was made weeks before to do the shopping, in short it was a complete organization for a whole week of beach and family fun.

Me puse a reflexionar y hallé dentro de mis pensamientos que, la semana santa es un tiempo privilegiado para compartir y más con nuestras familias, porque aparte de ser la tradición propia de ese tiempo, es bueno celebrar la fe y la esperanza con los nuestros del estar vivos, y eso en gran parte lo he aprendido en estas últimas temporadas, dónde he visto con preocupación que primos muy cercanos se han tenido que despedir de la vida a una edad que no deberían.

I began to reflect and found within my thoughts that Holy Week is a privileged time to share, especially with our families, because apart from being the tradition of that time, it is good to celebrate faith and hope with our loved ones. to be alive, and I have learned that to a large extent in these last few seasons, where I have seen with concern that very close cousins have had to say goodbye to life at an age that they should not have.

Al estar compartiendo en familia, entre bebidas y comidas, a menudo no es bien visto como algo que se debería hacer, pues es una época religiosa y de meditación profunda,pero si nos ponemos a pensar un poco, acaso no es eso lo que Dios quiere? Que nos unamos a nuestra familia, que hagamos bien y seamos felices, los valores como la humildad, gratitud, amor y alegría, están presentes cuando más en nuestra vida cuando se comparte en familia.

Being shared with the family, between drinks and meals, is often not well seen as something that should be done, since it is a time of religion and deep meditation, but if we stop to think a little, maybe that is not what God wants? That we join our family, that we do good and be happy, values such as humility, gratitude, love and joy, are most present in our lives when shared as a family.

Mi familia es mi roca, es mi muro de contención, cuando no me quedan fuerzas, los veo y me doy cuenta que es por ellos que lucho. Mi familia ha estado en las buenas, pero sobre todo en las malas, cuando he necesitado de ellos, están siempre para mí. My family is my rock, it is my retaining wall, when I have no strength left, I see them and I realize that it is for them that I fight. My family has been there in the good times, but especially in the bad times, when I have needed them, they are always there for me. My family is my refuge, it is my safe place and in itself, that is what God wants about families.

Sea lo que sea que hagamos en semana santa, pasemos una semana haciendo reflexión de nuestra vida, perdonemos a nuestro prójimo, así como nos gustaría que también nuestros errores fueran sanados, compartamos con nuestro círculo familiar o de amistad, pero que sea con amor y no con odio o hipocresía. Feliz semana santa, saludos y bendiciones.

Whatever we do during Holy Week, let's spend a week reflecting on our lives, let's forgive our neighbors, just as we would like our mistakes to be healed, let's share with our family or friendship circle, but let it be with love and not with hatred or hypocrisy.
