[ESP/ENG] Escapada a Cumanacoa: Naturaleza, sabores y aventura inolvidable / Getaway to Cumanacoa: Nature, flavors and unforgettable adventure
Hello dear friends, I hope you are all well. These past few days have been tough, filled with a lot of nostalgia, but even so, continuing with my life and doing my daily activities gives me the strength to keep going.

About two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I went on a trip to Cumanacoa, a town 40 minutes from the city of Cumaná, Venezuela. It is characterized by its high mountains, green areas, abundant rivers, and cool climate, making it a great meeting point to share and have a different experience.

On social media, they were constantly posting about a place called "El Hato" in Cumanacoa, where they sell grilled food, cachapas, and a menu different from what people are used to. So, we set off on this trip, a little nervous because just as we were driving, it started to rain very hard, so hard that the windshield wipers couldn't keep up, which made us slow down.

We arrived in about 45 minutes, and the drive there was absolutely beautiful—forested mountains, an unparalleled landscape. There was quite a bit of fog, which made us roll down the windows to get some fresh air. The most beautiful thing was seeing the green mountains on the horizon and the rivers with their streams along the sides of the road. Experiencing my state of mind on that level of depth is truly moving.

We arrived at "El Hato" and ordered two combo meals of cachapas, which were also quite tasty, and a pitcher of papelón juice with lemon, which was absolutely delicious. I have absolutely no complaints about this visit and this new experience I had with my partner. Although we go to beaches in the city and such, this is the first time we've driven to a nearby town in our state, which is exciting. I also want to mention that the place had a park for the little ones, a green area where you could see a strand of hair in the distance, it wasn't too crowded, the areas were clean, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was good.

I would also like to let you know that the road was in pretty good condition, especially compared to what is commonly said about the roads leading out of our state. We always hear criticism about the poor state of the roads and the lack of maintenance; however, on this occasion, I had the opportunity to travel a route that proved to be passable.

The fact is, all this leads me to reflect on how often we focus only on the negative, forgetting to recognize the progress and the reality of our country, that despite everything we can count on snow, jungle, storm and volcano, just like the song says.

Having these kinds of dates/walks with my partner made me appreciate how much he cares about our relationship and how it keeps it from becoming monotonous—which is exactly what we were talking about on the way there. I appreciate his attention and priority, and thank you all for reading. Blessings to you all.
