Hola.

....

english version

Hello. Some days are harder than others. Usually, when something significant happens in my life, I delve into my emotions to begin processing them and, in a way, find catharsis.

Having a blog where I can express myself helps me a lot, and for that, I'm incredibly grateful. More than any monetary reward, there's the satisfaction of channeling my passion for emotions through writing. I'll leave you with something I wrote.

The days are starting to feel less heavy
But the memory remains that something happened
That something has changed
That something broke
The country is no longer the same
Nothing looks the same
Even sitting at the table with my family doesn't feel the same
Meals have lost their flavor
And often even breathing hurts
That knot won't go away
It's stuck
To remind me that there's a wound
A wound that always comes and goes
But the days go by and I'm still like this
Feeling this unease
Even though I'm far from everything
More than 7 hours from the tragedy
From the collapsed buildings
From the bodies that still lie in the rubble
The pain remains constant
I wonder when the wound will heal?
At 32, I've already experienced several tragedies:
those that come from my family,
family chaos with illnesses,
the loss of loved ones,
And those that come from my country's politics,
and those that have arrived globally with COVID
They come, they teach, and they go.
What is this all trying to teach us?
I ask myself repeatedly.
