Después de una larga semana de mucho trabajo me animé a decorar mi casa para las fechas navideñas. Sé que aún estamos en noviembre pero debido a mi trabajo actual, me di cuenta de que tengo poco tiempo libre y decidí aprovechar uno de mis días de descanso para eso.

After a long week of hard work, I decided to decorate my house for the Christmas season. I know we are still in November but due to my current job, I realized that I have little free time and I decided to use one of my days off for that.

En fin, después de tener una mañana para comprar la comida de mi gato, me dispuse a sacar todos los adornos y el árbol de navidad. No sé porqué, pero cada año ese arbolito tiene una sorpresa nueva. El año pasado me encontré con cascarones de huevos de lagartijas jaja (aquí son muy comunes) y este año mientras lo sacaba y armaba no conseguí ninguna sorpresa pero me di cuenta que ya está muy viejo porque se le caían las hojas y partes de las ramas.

Anyway, after having a morning to buy my cat's food, I got ready to take out all the decorations and the Christmas tree. I don't know why, but every year that little tree has a new surprise. Last year I found lizard eggs shells haha ​​(they are very common here) and this year while I was taking it out and putting it together I did not get any surprise but I realized that it is already very old because the leaves and parts of the branches fell off.

"Reminder: get a new Christmas tree for next year"

Cuando por fin pude armar el árbol (que para mí es la parte fastidiosa del proceso de decoración) me dispuse a escoger los adornos. No tenemos muchos pero me las arreglé para decorarlo de la mejor forma que pude con los colores naranja y dorado, me gustó mucho el resultado. Quería ponerle unos lazos rojos con dorado pero los dejaré para decorar la ventana de mi casa.

También coloqué un arco que va en el pasillo de la casa, me gusta decorarlo porque mientras más decorada se ve la casa más bonita se ve y se siente el ambiente navideño. Me da risa que mi gatito estuvo observándome desde lejos ya que le dio miedo desde que saque el árbol. Pero sé que se le pasará y ya lo veré debajo del árbol durmiendo o intentado treparlo.

When I was finally able to put the tree together (which for me is the tedious part of the decorating process) I set about choosing the decorations. We don't have many but I managed to decorate it in the best way I could with the orange and gold colors, I really liked the result. I wanted to put some red bows with gold but I will leave them to decorate the window of my house.

I also placed an arch that goes in the hallway of the house, I like to decorate it because the more decorated the house looks, the more beautiful the Christmas atmosphere looks and feels. It makes me laugh that my kitten has been watching me from afar as it has scared her since I took out the tree. But I know he will get over it and I'll see him under the tree sleeping or trying to climb it.

Lo más difícil de decorar es al momento de poner las luces y cintas al arbolito, no sé si soy muy buena con eso porque siento que no queda bien la iluminación… pero bueno.

Me siento feliz por el resultado, además siento que está navidad será mejor que la anterior, ya que tengo un mejor trabajo espero poder tener pequeños obsequios a mis familiares debajo del árbol.

The most difficult thing to decorate is when putting the lights and ribbons on the tree, I don't know if I'm very good with that because I feel that the lighting doesn't look good ... but hey.
