(ESP/ENG) Cómo fueron mis navidades / How was my christmas 🎄💖✨

Para estas fechas estuve muy ocupada ya que no sólo estuve preparando cosas en casa, sino que también estuve organizando actividades navideñas con mis compañeras de trabajo para la comunidad.

For these dates I was very busy since I was not only preparing things at home, but I was also organizing Christmas activities with my co-workers for the community.

En la comunidad donde trabajamos decidimos organizar una pequeña reunión de cierre de actividades por el año. Donde se mostrarían los dibujos de cada niña y niño que participa en el curso de dibujo, hacer un pequeño almuerzo y fiesta con dulces y demás donde todos pudieran participar, bailar, jugar y compartir.
Fue muy bonito y gratificante hacer esto para los niños, niñas y adolescentes de la comunidad pues no muchos tienen con quien compartir en estas fiestas. Así que decidimos regalarles un día diferente.

In the community where we work, we decided to organize a small closing meeting for the year. Where the drawings of each girl and boy who participate in the drawing course would be shown, make a small lunch and party with sweets and others where everyone could participate, dance, play and share.
It was very nice and gratifying to do this for the children and adolescents of the community because not many have someone to share with at these parties. So we decided to give them a different day.

Adicional a esto también realizamos unos parrandones, es decir unimos a los niños y niñas de las clases de canto y organizamos un coro y así cantar con ellos villancicos navideños por toda la comunidad. Cada día de la semana íbamos, los padres y representantes, los niños y nosotras en conjunto con el profesor de música nos dirigíamos a un sector de la comunidad a cantar los villancicos y a su vez darnos a conocer como movimiento. Lo cual fue una maravillosa idea pues muchas personas que desconocían de nuestra existencia se animaron a inscribir a su hijos a las diferentes actividades que ofrecemos; También muchas personas se acercaron a nosotros para pedir alguna orientación psicológica o legal. Así que tenemos bastante trabajo para este nuevo comienzo de año jeje

In addition to this, we also carry out some parrandons, that is, we join the boys and girls from the singing classes and organize a choir and thus sing Christmas carols with them throughout the community. Every day of the week we went, the parents and representatives, the children and us together with the music teacher, we went to a sector of the community to sing Christmas carols and in turn make ourselves known as a movement. Which was a wonderful idea because many people who were unaware of our existence were encouraged to enroll their children in the different activities we offer; Many people also approached us to ask for some psychological or legal guidance. So we have a lot of work for this new beginning of the year hehe

En verdad me hizo muy feliz haber participado en estas actividades y ver la unión de mi equipo de trabajo. Al final para nosotras hicimos un rico almuerzo navideño donde compartimos mucho. Estoy muy agradecida por este nuevo empleo y cambio en mi vida, espero seguir mejorando como persona y poder seguir ayudando a otros en lo que pueda.

It really made me very happy to have participated in these activities and to see the unity of my work team. In the end we made a delicious Christmas lunch for us where we shared a lot. I am very grateful for this new job and change in my life, I hope to continue improving as a person and be able to continue helping others in whatever way I can.
