Gameplay PSP: Final Fantasy [ESP-ENG]
Greetings, dear gamers. We continue testing old PSP games, which mostly existed for the PlayStation 2 console, but thanks to the PPSSPP emulator that offers us the Play Store for Android, I have been able to download some games that for the time, you can say that have been given up for lost, so I have not stopped looking for the best of that time. This time I will tell you about Final Fantasy, a game that has been for many years, a great universe where we can meet many characters that have passed from the beginning to the latest franchises that have been released, I managed to find Final Fantasy Tactics, which had only previously seen a gameplay and tutorial from YouTube, but had not had the opportunity to play it like now, so I went on an adventure to see how I was doing and here is the proof.
Debo admitir que al iniciar el juego, después de colocar mi nombre de usuario me encontré un poco desubicado en gran parte, no conocía ni siquiera en qué cronología de basaba este juego, por lo que solo pude dejar que sucediera la introducción y que me ubicara un poco a todo lo que se iba a aproximar. Es por ello que los diálogos principales los detuve por un momento para ver de qué iba tratando, aunque estaban en inglés, pude captar en gran parte a que se refería. No estaba tan lejos en la realidad de todo lo que nos mostraba. Básicamente todo transcurre en las mismas épocas que todas las franquicias, pero un estilo retro, algo que me gusta en los juegos que he podido jugar desde este emulador, no es para menos ya que en su gran mayoría fueron sacados en la década del 2000. Un poco después de todo lo que había acontecido, estaba ansioso de ver como era la jugabilidad, sabía que era por turno, pero no tenía idea de qué iba en ese momento.
I must admit that when I started the game, after placing my user name I found myself a little disoriented, I didn't even know what chronology this game was based on, so I could only let the introduction happen and let me get a little bit familiar with everything that was about to happen. That's why I stopped the main dialogues for a moment to see what it was about, although they were in English, I was able to understand what it referred to. It was not so far from the reality of everything he was showing us. Basically everything takes place in the same times as all the franchises, but in a retro style, something I like in the games I've been able to play from this emulator, not least because most of them were released in the 2000s. A little after everything that had happened, I was anxious to see how the gameplay was, I knew it was turn-based, but I had no idea what it was about at that time.
Luego de salir del castillo y saber que habían herido a uno de los guerreros del reino, la pantalla empieza a cargar su próximo escenario, es acá donde me pongo más ansioso en ver lo que acontece, pude grabar este fragmento y le hice un gif a manera de observar como se dispuso el escenario en ese pequeño instante, algo que me resultó bastante fascinante por el hecho de ser una animación tan perfecta en todo momento, sin mencionar que es bastante vieja, sigo guardando cierta admiración con esto.
After leaving the castle and knowing that they had wounded one of the warriors of the kingdom, the screen begins to load its next scenario, it is here where I get more anxious to see what happens, I could record this fragment and I made a gif to observe how the scenario was arranged in that little moment, something that I found quite fascinating because of the fact of being such a perfect animation at all times, not to mention that it is quite old, I still keep some admiration with this.
Luego de esta gran introducción y buen resumen de lo que trata esta historia en el juego, se continuó con lo que es la antesala de una batalla, fuera del castillo, acá sí estaba esperando posicionarlos a todos para un buen combate, pero como no tenía idea, tuve que esperar un poco a que sucedieran los eventos y poder tener la orientación en todo lo que debía hacer, así fue como pude aprovechar cada momento y planificar las posiciones de estos guerreros.
After this great introduction and good summary of what this story is about in the game, we continued with what is the prelude to a battle, outside the castle, here I was waiting to position them all for a good fight, but as I had no idea, I had to wait a bit for the events to happen and to have the orientation in everything I had to do, so I could take advantage of every moment and plan the positions of these warriors.
Finalmente pude tener la oportunidad de hasta conocer las estadísticas de cada guerrero y ubicarlo mejor en el pequeño espacio de combate, así era como esperaba el juego, por turnos y estrategias, aunque pude ver que transcurría muy lento todo, debe ser más que todo por la cantidad de personajes presentes al momento. Pudiendo intentar también avanzar más en los cuadrantes, pero no pude, tiene sus límites y es algo bastante bueno en esos casos.
Finally I could have the opportunity to even know the stats of each warrior and place them better in the small combat space, this was how I expected the game, by turns and strategies, although I could see that everything went very slow, it must be mostly because of the amount of characters present at the time. I could also try to advance more in the quadrants, but I couldn't, it has its limits and it's something quite good in those cases.
Ya cuando pude ver de cerca el ataque del personaje principal en la batalla, pude relacionar todo con otros par de juegos de Final Fantasy que había tenido la oportunidad de jugar, así tal cual se desarrollan, no fue solo un viaje en el tiempo, también un alivio saber que desde mucho antes se manejaba ese estilo de juego que ha sido muy popular hoy en día. Already when I could see closely the attack of the main character in the battle, I could relate everything with a couple of other Final Fantasy games that I had the opportunity to play, so as they develop, it was not only a trip back in time, also a relief to know that long before that style of game that has been very popular today was handled.
