The Metaverse Will Change Marketing Models

To some, it isn't quite clear why "Big Tech" companies are chasing Metaverse setups or startups or maybe trying to build a native like Facebook Meta.

The answer to this uncertainty isn't quite written in bold but it's all about buying out the industry. As far as technology advances to change how people utilize the internet, the Metaverse will capture a huge financial market share.

But that doesn't still explain things, does it?

Let's look at the current marketing models in the world today.

They are commonly three ways to quickly get a product selling in the markets and that's through buying ad space, affiliate marketing, and referral systems.

For the referral system, the product has to already be available similar to affiliate marketing which people often see to be the same thing but there's actually a huge difference.

Affiliate focuses on a larger scale than the referral system and targets larger audience mediums, following this, the profit range is far higher than the referral system.

And running ads is very common amongst business owners, this is typically the path most businesses take, sometimes it's beneficiary, sometimes a total waste of time, but wealth is transferred in the process and as @edystringz would say; "everything is fair in business".

Meta Marketing

Some people say affiliate marketing is dead, this is somewhat true as individuals prefer to sort things out than follow a referral system, and site ads are quite growing old, and not many are buying into any of these products, your company has to really have creative minds to capture the viewers of your products for you to scale with running ads.

That said, Meta marketing will change how products are being marketed.

Taking a clothing brand, for instance, the technology that's being built isn't focused on creating a system where items are shown on blank spaces like - typically websites, rather, the nature of the Metaverse brings near real-life experiences and contact.

So how's that a huge marketing structure?

Imagine being able to remotely access the Gucci store or Nike perhaps, whichever brand you're interested in, maybe Burberry? Yeah?

So instead of seeing an ad for the products, you get to freely experience it from wherever in the world, so that's a near-real experience with "actual products!".

This makes the Metaverse a big set up for companies building it, because to achieve such, Gucci either has to be building their own Metaverse from scratch of renting a space in an already built Metaverse to set up their store.

Users would now have the ability to explore available Gucci products in a way that wouldn't normally be possible. This entirely makes marketing flexible because there's a high percentage rate of about 80% becoming customers of the products they explored, this is primarily because physical experience doesn't always give room for second thoughts.

Companies Will be able to flexibly market and make instant sales worldwide with even less stress of integrating diverse services to reach the masses.

I can only see how the Metaverse will be a huge part of the cryptocurrency economy really go crazy, considering the nature of the blockchain with its associated digital assets and services, there's a huge economic and system changes on the way, and lots of norms will be advanced and the financial markets will take a great shift.
