Photographing strangers in the streets of venezuela - Monomad Challenge.
Today I am back with a set of photographs that I took as part of my dynamic where I approach strangers on the streets and ask them if I can take their photos, on this occasion I ran into this gentleman who caught my attention because he was walking and wearing an unusual outfit so I decided to approach him and he very kindly gave me his permission to take some photos.
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un set de fotografias que hice como parte de mi dinamica en donde me acerco a desconocidos en las calles y les pregunto si les puedo hacer fotos, en esta ocasion me topé con este señor que me llamó la atencion porque iba caminando y llevaba una vestimenta fuera de lo comun asi que decidí acercarme a el y muy amablemente me dió su permiso de hacerle algunas fotos.
To my surprise, the gentleman was very kind and participative, he was very excited about the idea of the photos and did different poses for the camera, he was quite a character!
Para mi sorpresa, el señor fue muy amable y participativo, el estaba muy emocionado con la idea de las fotos y hacia diferentes poses para la camara, era todo un personaje!
I asked him about the accessories in his hands and he told me that he had made them himself, quite an artist!
Le pregunté por los accesorios en sus manos y me dijo que las habia hecho el mismo, todo un artista!
At that moment he told me, take a photo of the tie too:
En ese momento me dijo tomale una foto a la corbata tambien:
I asked him why he dressed like that and he replied that he liked to dress in formal attire and that he had up to 8 outfits to make combinations, how cool!
Then I told him to hold the hat and he made this military-style pose:
Le pregunté porque vestía asi y me respondió que a el le gustaba vestir de etiqueta y que tenia hasta 8 conjuntos para hacer combinaciones, que cool!
Luego le dije que agarrara el sombrero y hizo esta pose estilo militar:
At that moment the gentleman told me, now take a photo of me showing the shoes, not just anyone has these, and he proceeded to crouch down for us to take this photo:
En ese momento el señor me dijo, ahora hazme una foto que salgan los zapatos, estos no los tiene cualquiera y procedió a agacharse para que hicieramos esta foto:
All the photos were taken with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm lens at 2.8/f and only natural light.
At the end of this super spontaneous "photo session" the gentleman was very happy with his photos and so was I because I had always wanted to run into a character like that on the streets, one that is different from what I normally do.

Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8, un lente 50mm a 2.8/f y solo luz natural.
Al final de esta "sesion de fotos" super espontanea el señor quedó muuy feliz con sus fotos y yo tambien porque siempre habia querido toparme con un personaje asi en las calles, que sea diferente a lo que normalmente hago.
