Street photography from Venezuela - Monomad Challenge.
Today I am back with a new set of street photographs taken in one of the many cities in Venezuela.
I want to start with this photography I took because I really liked how the stairs fill almost the entire scene, and the two people in the center give it the special touch:
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias callejeras tomadas en una de las muchas ciudades de Venezuela.
Quiero empezar por esta foto que tomé porque me gustó mucho como las escaleras rellenan casi toda la escena y las dos personas en el centro le dan el toque especial:

In Venezuela, it is common to see people sitting outside their houses, simply talking:
En venezuela es comun ver personas sentadas fueras de sus casas, simplemente hablando:

Mother and daughter, I took this photography because they were holding hands, you can tell they have a strong bond:
Madre e hija, tomé esta foto porque iban agarradas de la mano, se nota que tienen un fuerte lazo:
This man has spent his entire life selling flowers in the same place, literally next to a sidewalk with his car, and he is very famous for it. Sometimes I joke, saying that if this gentleman had invested in a physical store, he would have gone bankrupt, since his street stall is what makes him so characteristic and special:
Este hombre tiene toda una vida vendiendo flores en el mismo lugar, literalmente al lado de una acera con su carro y es muy famoso por ello, aveces bromeo diciendo que si este señor hubiera invertido en una tienda fisica hubiera quebrado, ya que su puesto en la calle es lo que lo hace tan caracteristico y especial:
The following photography is of another business that has also been in the same place for years. This person sells pineapples from his truck on the outskirts of the city:
La siguiente foto es de otra negocio que tambien tiene años en el mismo lugar, esta persona vende piñas en su camioneta a las afueras de la ciudad:
The streets of my city are quite steep!
Las calles de mi ciudad son bastante empinadas!
In this city, there is a sculptor who is well known because he makes his sculptures from used tires and creates incredible things like this lion. I hope to meet him one day, learn his story, and take some photographs of him:
En esta ciudad hay un escultor que es muy conocido porque sus esculturas las hace con cauchos usados y hace cosas increibles como este leon, espero un dia poder conocerlo, saber su historia y hacerle algunas fotos:
A few days ago, I went out to try taking night photos, and I will share my 3 favorites from the most recent outing. I love the first one because it shows the night in its most everyday state, and the play of light and shadow is incredible!
Hace unos dias salí a probar hacer fotos de noche y les compartiré mis 3 favoritas de la salida mas reciente, la primera me encanta porque muestra la noche en su estado mas cotidiano y el juego de luces y sombra es increible!
The following photography is a bit "failed" on a technical level because the guy is blurry, but at the same time, I feel it expresses what was happening in that moment. While everything was still, the guy was walking very quickly while dragging an empty cart:
La siguiente foto es un poco "fallida" a nivel tecnico porque el chico sale borroso pero al mismo tiempo siento que expresa lo que pasaba en ese momento, mientras todo estaba quieto el chico iba caminando muy rapido mientras arrastraba una carreta vacia:
And the next photography is of the facade of a pharmacy with Christmas decoration, but the most important part of this photography is the woman sitting on the side. She was asking for money to buy medicine. The impressive thing is that when she saw me take the photography, the woman smiled with the best attitude!
Y la siguiente foto es de la fachada de una farmacia con decoracion navideña, pero lo mas importante de esta foto es la mujer que esta sentada a un lado, ella estaba pidiendo dinero para poder comprar unas medicinas, lo impresionante es que al verme tomar la foto la mujer sonrió con la mejor de las actitudes!
I took all the photographs with my Canon R8 camera and a 50mm f/2.8 lens.
