Bought Queen Of Crows | D1 Focus Chest opening | Crypto and Splinterlands Market Watch on 20th Oct, 2022

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Warriors..

I hope all of you are enjoying a pleasant day with your family and friends and also in meantime, battling hard and collecting as many reward chests as you can with both daily focus and season chests. The season has already crossed 5 days and only 11 days left for this current one to end and I am also working upon my trophy count and trying to reach champ as soon as possible, for better rewards of course.

Right now I am battling in Diamond II tier with 3168 trophies and already collected a total of 7 chests in daily focus challenge for today whereas only 13 chests for the season rewards so far. I started this season with a bad ECR rate and in order to reach up quickly, I am still sacrificing my ECR and getting points per ranked match which is no doubt affecting my reward chest counts. So I have decided from now to collect just 4-5 focus chests daily and not to push any further so that ECR rises a little everyday. Let’s see if I can manage that or again get my mind lost in battling again.

By the time I am writing this post thou I have already reached Diamond II but in the screenshot above, I shared my last day’s focus rewards which was opened while being in D3. I earned only 5 chests the past time but still got better rewards than usual. From those 5 focus chests, I grabbed one gold foil rare reward card the Vampiric Blossom along with 2 other common cards, 81.481 SPS and a Chaos booster pack. I was really happy with the outcome but also know that even better rewards are waiting for me in Champ.

QUEEN OF CROWS

Now, as the Riftwatchers cards are currently dominating both the market and battlefield, I was thinking to start buying cards one by one depending upon their usability and price rate, so after roaming around the market for some time, I finally found myself a good deal and bought the first Max Riftwatchers card, the QUEEN OF CROWS. I bought the card as max level directly from market just for around 69$. But right now as the dec have fallen more, maybe it’s price have come down further. However, this card seems to be useful in big mana limit matches because of it’s high level stats and ability combos. I have already faced this card battling against me for a few times in the ranked gameplay and it certainly adds more value in my death splinter collection as I do have possess all modern edition cards in there.

So, when I saw this card being listed for cheap in the official splinterlands market tab, I haven’t had that much dec in my wallet that moment, So I pour in some hive and went to the monstermarket.io website and bought it from there. As usual, it was a fast and fluid transaction and I also instantly got the 3% cash-back which was about 3373.9 dec in my hive-engine. When buying cards off market, I always use this website because these little cashbacks add up big in long term. However, I still have many left so I may also into the splinterlands discord looking for better deal of Rifts.

Now, taking a look at the current crypto market, BTC right now is selling for only 19,175$ per unit and it’s week high is also a little below 20k. It seems like it is successfully running a endless long bear run. On the other side, the ETH is also trading below 1,300$ right now with a current price of 1,295$ per unit with a little -0.17% price change within last 24 hours. And sadly, our beloved Hive has also lost it’s place above 0.5$ and currently being traded for 0.463$ per unit with a -1.01% price dip within the last day.

Now, taking a quick peak at the splinterlands tokens and assets prices on H-E, DEC is currently being sold at 0.00057$ per unit with almost no change in price since day while the SPS is selling a slight 2% growth in it’s price over the last 24 hours and currently being traded for 0.0569$ per unit. However, Riftwatchers packs are strongly maintaining it’s price and selling for 4.329$ per pack right now at H-E. On the other hand, the Chaos packs are selling for only 1.842$ per unit and the voucher is maybe having it’s worst price moment with only 0.255$ price per vouchers as its selling right now.
