LPUD | I reached staking total 10,550 Leo today

If you are an active soul on the Hive chain and also interact on the InLeo platform, then you must know the importance of today. Yes, you guessed it right, today is the LPUD event and the whole Community seems to be very excited about the event as the Hive is getting flooded with LPUD posts all over the place. This is something no Leo user wants to miss and like most of you, I also joined the event today and increased my Leo stake a little bit more. In this post, allow me to talk about Inleo, LPUD and InLeo’s recent activities and my future plans with Leo, so without any further delay, let us jump right in!

What is Inleo?

For some of you who may be hearing all these terms for the first time and getting confused, let me clear the air and give you an easy and small explanation. First of all, Inleo is a social media platform built on the Hive blockchain that supports both long-form and short-form content and currently possesses thousands of active users who interact with this amazing platform on a daily basis. Just think of it as a combo of an advanced Twitter and blogger under the same roof. The Inleo platform has a silky smooth User interface with blazing fast speed when interacting via creating content and vote, comment or sharing other’s content that it can challenge most of the leading web2 social media websites like Twitter. If you have already used this platform for a while now, you know how easy and smooth it is to interact on this platform and moreover, this platform is totally niche-less, which means you can start interacting with any topic you want. On this platform, we can publish short-form content as we do on Twitter which is called threads and can also publish long-form blog content. Not to mention that this platform gives you so many features including videos, gifs, images, charts, polls, using markdown styles and formats etc so that you can create attractive content easily. When you create content, it gets visible on the platform and if other users like your content, they may vote on your content and the more votes you get, the more you will earn in the form of crypto. On the other hand, users who stake Hive and Leo in their account increase their vote value and the more Hive and Leo power a user has staked in his account, the more valuable his vote will be in dollars. When a user with staked a Hive and Leo vote on your content, your content payout will increase as well, which you can see live. While creators earn through getting votes on their content, the Leo stakers also earn by simply voting on other’s posts and here, 50% of the vote value goes to the author and the rest 50% goes to the user who voted on that post. Each and every content has a 7 days shelf life to get votes and after 7 days when you post content, the rewards will get distributed among the creator and the voters.

Now let us talk about Leo, Leo is the crypto token of the Inleo platform and it holds a monetary value depending on the market. Users get paid with Hive Power, HBD (Hive Backed Dollars) and Leo where Hive and HBD both are Layer 1 tokens and Leo is a Layer 2 token of Hive Blockchain. Recently, the Leo token touched its all-time high value of 0.10$ per token and the whole community is really excited over this. I am also glad to be an old member of this community and over a long time period, I have accumulated and staked Leo tokens in my account and currently have a total stake of 10,364 Leo tokens.

What is LPUD?

LPUD stands for Leo Power Up Day and it is a monthly event in this community that happens exactly on the 15th day of every month. On this day, people who love and believe in this project power up a certain amount of Leo tokens in their account and increase their stake valuation as well as the voting value. This event not only helps the users to grow over time but there are also prizes such as Hive or Leo power delegation, liquid tokens etc for participating in this event which gives you a chance to earn even more. Every user who stakes a minimum of 150 Leo in their account also gets an exclusive LPUD badge as a token of appreciation not to mention that as a user keeps powering up Leo Power, not only his vote value increase and hence more earnings from curation rewards but also he gets more exposure in the community.

My LPUD Participation

As for me, this month I powered up 175.298 LEO in my account and right now, I have a total of 10,550 Leo staked in my account! The monetary value of my account is now 1087.80$ and I am really happy to see how it is growing well over time. Last but not least, I want to thank all the Leo developers and project moderators who are working hard on the clock to bring us a better version and new features while making the platform bug less and lag less. It is very good to see how they started the Leofinance Blog project as a small community in the finance niche on this Hive chain and how they have developed a full-fledged platform and so many more over such a small time frame. I am proud to be a little part of this community and hope Inleo climbs more heights in the future!
