Remembering my unforgettable tour to Sikkim

Hello readers,

A trip is like a medicine in ones boring life and whenever you started feeling bored in your everyday life, packing your bags and going out for a travel always brings back the energy and motivation in you. I can certainly bet on the words I just spoke because I have spent almost over a year just lying in my bed due to a terrible accident that I met back in 2020 and in this long period of time when I was being recovered from my injuries, my Mental health got badly affected and there were days when I used to watch youtube vlogs for hours just to remember how the outside world looks like. But gladly I got recovered over time and finally the time came when I become able to walk again And started doing physiotherapy.

However, I’m in a relationship since my high school days and was about to marry her in 2021 as we planned together before the accident. But that terrible incident ransacked all my life plans and with all the other things, My marriage also got on hold. so, right after I was able to stand on my feet, I decided to get married and then go for a long honeymoon trip to a remote place with my lovely wife. We talked together about this for months and finally planned and choose the Sikkim state as our honeymoon destination. Sikkim is our neighbour state and a very popular international tourist place for its beautiful snowy mountain range and waterfalls, dipped with lots of other tourist activities. We planned for a whole week’s trip and took the journey via train and then rented car.

In above, I have shared some pictures from our trip in which we travelled to 2 of the Best sites, scenes of our trip the famous Buddha Temple and Shiva Temple. I cannot express with my mere words but believe me when I say, it was close to heaven if you can compare. The Buddha statue as you can see is very gigantic and placed on a top of a mountain, and you can see these Temple Rome miles away and even from the bottom of the hill. Not only the structure it self but the whole Buddha Park is a tremendously big place, and to travel from one corner to another, the tourists had to use golf carts which were being rented near the entrance gate. Moreover, just behind the Buddha statue, the whole Kanchenjungha mountain range can be seen on a clear day, but the day we traveled there was a bit cloudy, so thou we saw the range with our own eyes, we couldn’t take a good picture of it.

The other place that we visited that day was the Char Dham, the famous Shiva temple in Sikkim and as you can clearly see from the picture above the Shiva statue was as gigantic as the Buddha statue and we broke almost a 1000 steps just to reach there. But the magnificent environment And the spirituality did Sooth all our pain and we spent hours just sitting there and visiting the main the side temples in that area. Apart from that gigantic Shiva statue, they were were also the miniature versions of all the famous Shiva temples those are situated across India. Just like the Buddha Park, this Shiva Temple is also situated on the top of another mountain and can be seen from miles away. We enjoyed the day visiting these two great sites of Sikkim and at evening we came back to our hotel to take rest. But little that we know those moments got printed in our hearts for lifetime..

I hope you like reading my photography post and enjoyed the pictures. Let me know your latest travel activity in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post! Yeah
