Splinterlands | Bought a max Rebellion NFT for upcoming Conflict

I hope all of you are enjoying the beautiful weekend with your loved ones and for those who play splinterlands on a daily basis, I guess all of you are pretty busy scoring more reward chests right now as we have come near the halfway of this ongoing ranked season and only 9 days and 17 hours left for it to meet its end. For me, I am Right now focusing on my scholar account while learning about the new Rebel monsters and how to properly use them in battles. So far I have come near the border of Top tier ad currently playing at Champion II with a trophy count of 4200 exactly. Today I have played the ranked matches extensively to boost the daily reward and got myself 14 focus chests before stopped playing. Looking at season chests I have collected 55 reward chests in there so far but having another almost 10 days in hand, I am pretty sure that I can reach my goal this time of having 100 season chests. I am also taking care of the tournaments happenings daily if eligible and also playing every brawl to earn enough merit points to upgrade all my glad cards to max levels. Let’s now see how it goes in reality while I will be putting my best effort in it.

On the other hand, splinterlands fans are currently waiting for the next big update un the game which will be happening tomorrow at 23rd January, 2024 and like all of you, I am Also eagerly waiting for it while preparing myself meanwhile. Yes, the newly created airdrop mechanism for Rebellion cards is about to get launched tomorrow which will be called Conflict. Unlike the previous card airdrops where cards were being distributed on basis of how many packs anyone has bought before that particular card drop. So there were no credit to actually hold the packs or cards which is added in this new airdrop system where in order to get a chance to receive the rebel legendary cards as airdrops, you have to stake Rebellion cards and packs. You have to buy a wagon in order to stake those cards and packs and each wagon will cost either of these tokens - 50 vouchers, 10,000 dec or 10,000 vouchers. Each Wagon can hold maximum 100 packs and 5 cards and the more contribution points you earn through your staking, the more chances you get to receive an airdrop.

I was saving all my vouchers that I earn from my SPS stake for this upcoming event as it was shared a while ago in one of their official posts and now at least I am prepared regarding the required vouchers in this event. As you can see from the screenshot above, my current voucher count of 247+ and almost near 250 so very soon I will be able to buy 5 wagons for free with my voucher earning. But however, as I started buying rebellion card but slowly and also do not hold any packs so far, my whole focus right now is on both of them. I have already bought 10 rebel packs from Hive-Engine market and I have decided now to focus fully upon buying and owning more rebel cards, max level or at least high level and stake them in wagons so that I can earn more contribution points. I had 3 max rebel cards and some more low upgraded cards in my collection so today, I decided to buy a max legendary card so that I get a good amount of points. In the post below, I am going to talk about that particular card, so without doing any further delay, let us start!

Barashkukor

As you have already observed it in the thumbnail, today I will be talking about the Rebellion monster Barashkukor in this post. Baras belongs to the Death element and it is legendary card that needs total 11 BCX to be upgraded into max level. This monster’s attack type is magic and it costs a whooping 13 mana to be used in battles. Now, let us take a deeper look into its league wise stats and abilities at below.

Bronze

At level 1, this monster possesses 5 magic attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 6 health along with the Fury ability that it gets from its initial level. With the Fury ability, it applies double damage to the targets with taunt ability.

Silver

When upgraded to level 2, this monster gets the same 5 magic attack at 3 speed but with 3 armour and 6 health and it also gets a new ability - Weaken. Monsters with weaken ability reduces the health of all enemy monsters by 1.

Gold

When it goes to level 3, this monster receives 5 magic attack at 4 speed with 4 armour and 7 health along with a new ability - Magic Reflect. With this ability, now this monster can return damage the attacker whenever it gets attacked with magic.

Diamond / Champion

When being upgraded to max level 4, this monster gets 5 magic attack at 4 speed with 5 armour and 8 health along with the 3 abilities that I mentioned above. The increased armour + health combo will now even protect it more against attacks while the massive attack power will bring down enemy cards faster.

Buying the Barashkukor

When I decided to buy another max rebel card especially for using it in the upcoming Conflict airdrop, I thought to buy a legendary type card so that I get maximum points for a max card in regular foil section and after roaming in the market and analysing the prices of different listed cards, I finally chose this card to buy and spent 65.30 USD on this card to buy all the required 11 BCXs. The main attraction kf this card that is responsible for making me buy this card is its unmatched attack power which I believe will be very useful not only in regular matches but in back to basics matches as well.

However, to buy all the required 11 BCX I would had to spent 65.30$ as per current listed card rates and after calculating that, I bought the required money as credits and went to monstermarket.io 3rd party card selling website to execute the purchase. There I selected all the cards and hit the purchase and immediately got the cards and then the cashbacks in my account. For Using their website to purchase splinterlands cards, they give instant 3% cashback paid in DEC in hive-engine and for this particular purchase, I received 1627.17 DEC as cashback.
