Splinterlands Shiraza | An Awesome Magic Monster with Halving Ability

Hello my fellow Splinterlands Warriors,
Welcome back to another thrilling and shining Splinterlands post guys, and I hope all of you are doing pretty great in your lives and enjoying an amazing weekend with your family and friends. Now, if you are also a splinterlands player like me and been fighting in this game continuously without affecting yourself with the market news and price charts, then I hope your ranked battles have been going well in this ongoing ranked season and that you are steadily climbing the trophy ladder and moving closer to your goal while collecting those juicy and valuable rewards along the way. If we take a quick look at the timer, the current ranked season still has around 3 days and 2 hours remaining before it comes to an end. So, the finish line is now getting closer, and this is probably the best time to make one final push toward your seasonal goals if you haven't reached there already. I wish all of you the very best and hope you finish the season exactly where you want to be.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode in this game, I am currently battling in the highest Gold I league with 4,080 trophies. My first objective remains reaching the 4,200 trophy milestone, and once I get there, I will again try to climb toward the leaderboard if I have enough battle energy and time remaining. Looking at the weekly raffle progress, I currently have 48 raffle entries. There is only around 1 day and 1 hour left before the raffle ends, so I am hoping to reach at least 54 entries before it closes.

Looking at the lottery, today's Frontier Daily Wheel gave me another Carnival card skin. Since I already owned this cosmetic skin, the game instead rewarded me with 100 Sparks along with an additional 20 Sparks from my daily 20% streak bonus. I am currently maintaining my 55-day login streak, and my total Sparks balance has now reached 21,916.

Apart from that, today I also opened 5 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last two days' daily missions. This time I managed to pull 1 Epic card and 8 Rare cards including 1 Archon, while the remaining cards were all Common cards. Overall, I think these packs gave me another decent collection of useful cards.

Shiraza
Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I would like to introduce another interesting card from the newest Escalation card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be taking a closer look at the Shiraza. So, if you are interested to know more about this monster, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.
The Shiraza was first seen in the game with the launch of the newest Escalation mini cardset edition. This monster belongs to the Neutral element and comes from the Drakoshan bloodline. It is classified as an Epic monster card, meaning players need a total of 46 CC cards to fully upgrade it to its maximum level. This monster costs 7 mana to deploy, so you can ideally use this monster when playing medium to high mana limit matches. This monster uses Magic attacks, allowing it to deal damage directly to enemy health. While its raw attack power may not look extraordinary at first glance, the combination of powerful utility abilities makes this monster one of the most interesting support cards in the Escalation set. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues.

BRONZE
At Level 2, the Shiraza possesses a decent stats of 2 Magic attack, 3 Speed, and 5 Health. At this level, it unlocks its first ability called Weapons Training.

WEAPONS TRAINING – Gives its attack type and attack power to adjacent allied units that normally have no attack, up to a maximum of 3 attack power.
SILVER
At Level 3, the monster retains 2 Magic attack while improving to 4 Speed and 6 Health. At this level, it unlocks another excellent ability called Phase.

PHASE – Magic attacks now have the same chance to miss this monster as physical attacks.
GOLD
At Level 5, the Shiraza improves its stats further with 2 Magic attack, 5 Speed, and 8 Health. At this stage, it unlocks another powerful ability called Halving.

HALVING – Reduces the target's attack power by 50% (rounded down) after a successful attack.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
At Level 6, finally the Shiraza reaches its maximum form and flaunts with with 3 Magic attack, 5 Speed, and 8 Health. Although it gains no additional ability at this level, the increase in magic damage makes this already dangerous support monster even more threatening throughout the battle.
Last but not least, I think Shiraza is one of those monsters that may look fairly ordinary at first glance, but once you understand how its abilities work together, it becomes incredibly valuable in many different lineups. Although it costs 7 mana, its respectable Magic attack, large Health pool, and impressive Speed allow it to survive for a long time while continuously dealing damage. The biggest reason to use this monster is undoubtedly its weapons training ability. Simply place one or two attackless monsters adjacent to Shiraza, and they will immediately gain Magic attack based on Shiraza's attack power. This allows you to take advantage of powerful support monsters while simultaneously turning them into attackers, making your lineup much more flexible and dangerous. Another excellent feature is its phase ability. Thanks to its already high Speed, Shiraza becomes surprisingly difficult to hit with Magic attacks as well. Since all three attack types now have a chance to miss, this monster becomes much harder to eliminate than its stats alone might suggest. Finally, the halving ability adds another layer of utility by permanently weakening enemy attackers after a successful hit. Reducing an opponent's attack power by half can completely change the flow of a battle, especially when facing monsters with very high damage output. Overall, I believe Shiraza is an outstanding support monster that offers offensive pressure, defensive utility, and one of the strongest support abilities currently available in the game.
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about SHIRAZA. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
