Day 93/365: The Power Of Words - Affirmations

Hello Everyone!

I have forgotten the count of how many times I have mentioned affirmations in my blogs. Even in my day-to-day life, I keep telling people about affirmations and how they have helped me and many other people around the world.

If you are someone who doesn’t know about affirmations, then let me explain to you first before heading deeper into this topic. Affirmations are a simple technique used to feed your conscious and subconscious mind with positive words or sentences to motivate you and push you to look at the positive aspects of life. Affirmation is done by repeating positive sentences a few times with total awareness. Let’s practice this now: Close your eyes and do some deep breathing so that you are more conscious and aware. Now, simply repeat this sentence and try to feel every word of it, “I am a peaceful and powerful soul”. After a few minutes you will feel a sense of calmness and peace within you. If not, then try a few times for some days and observe.

Affirmations can even change things around you, within you, and for you. As explained in the law of attraction, like attracts like and your thoughts become things. So, affirmation applies this basic principle of the law of attraction and makes things happen for you. In my opinion, our brain is designed in such a way that it requires validation of things to believe in it. And once things get validated in our mind, it gets stored in our subconscious mind. (If you don’t know how the subconscious mind works then do read the book, “The Power Of Subconscious Mind”, by Joseph Murphy.) And since the subconscious mind is more powerful than the conscious mind, it can manifest the things you have stored in it.

I would like to share some simple affirmations I do throughout the day which have worked for me.

1.I am a peaceful and powerful soul.
2.I am filled with love and blissful energy.
3.I am connected with the divine.
4.I am glowing in and out.
5.I am happy and energetic.

These simple affirmations have changed things for me slowly and gradually without me even realizing it. Now, I feel more motivated than before and I have become a more optimistic person. I try to see the positive aspects of every situation and person.

The basic difference you will start to see after using affirmations in your daily life is positivity. And being positive in life is the main thing for a happy and successful life.

So, keep practicing affirmations and be mindful of your thoughts.
