Digital Art - A Sweet Joy ✨

Good morning my dear readers, happy holidays and I hope you have had an excellent week, today I want to share with you a work that I finished this morning which I did a little portrait style because during the last days I am practicing a little new sketching styles with a sketch brush of Sai; I also encouraged me to do this drawing because I wanted to rest a little on the drawings with super elaborate or specific themes like magic or war, etc and do something a little freer. For this illustration my idea was to create a pretty woman whom I called by the name of Paolah, and as you can see she is inside a room in her home with a look and a big smile on her face, showing with that tender and sweet expression that she is very happy and elated by something that just happened in her life or perhaps by a great news she received:

Buen día mis queridísimos lectores, feliz vienes y espero que hayan tenido una excelente semana, el día de hoy quiero compartirles una obra que termine esta mañana la cual hice un poco a estilo retrato ya que durante los últimos días me encuentro practicando un poco nuevos estilos de bocetado con un pincel de boceto de Sai; también me anime a hacer este dibujo pues quería descansar un poco sobre los dibujos con temáticas super elaboradas o específicas como de magia o guerra, etc y hacer algo un poco más libre. Para esta ilustración mi idea fue la de crear a una linda mujer a la cual llame por el nombre de Paolah, y la como podrán apreciar se encuentra dentro de una habitación dentro de su hogar con una mirada y una gran sonrisa en su rostro, dejando ver con esa tierna y dulce expresión que se encuentra muy feliz y eufórica por algo que le acaba de ocurrió en su vida o quizá por una gran noticia que recibió:

I started giving good shape to my sketch with a Sai brush which I am testing and that allows me a better softness and precision when making a stroke, I was creating Paolah with an appearance of a young woman in her 20's, with a slim build and with a long and straight hair which falls on her shoulders; to start shaping my drawings I like to start with the skin since I think it gives me a better reference of the character, in this case I chose a more pinkish tone as a base and for the volume details I used a little more saturated color for the basic shadows and a darker one for the occlusion shadows. I defined very well some areas of Paolah's face while at the same time I was softening a little adding some touches of reddish blush on the cheeks, I finished everything related to the skin and the next thing was to give a good painting to the eyes and lips which in the end would be the ones that would give the expression to the character; for the eyes I tried a yellowish green tone and for the lips a scarlet red a little soft with the watercolor brush, for the creation of the eyes I applied many ascending tones to give a good shine to the iris and for the lips I continued working with the same watercolor and I only darkened a little where the upper and lower lip meet.

Inicie dándole buena forma a mi boceto con un pincel de Sai el cual estoy probando y que me permite una suavidad y precisión mejor a la hora de realizar un trazo, fui creando a Paolah con una apariencia como de una mujer joven de unos 20 y tantos años, con una contextura delgada y con un largo y liso cabello el cual recae sobre sus hombros; para empezar a darle forma a mis dibujos me encanta iniciar por la piel ya que a mi parecer me dar una mejor referencia del personaje, en este caso me decante por un tono mas rosado como base y para los detalles de volumen use un poco de color mas saturado para las zonas de sombras básicas y uno mas oscuro para las sombras de oclusión. Definí muy bien algunas zonas del rostro de Paolah mientras al mismo tiempo iba suavizando un poco añadiendo ciertos toques de rubor rojizo en las mejillas, culmine todo lo referente a la piel y lo siguiente fue darle un buen pintado a los ojos y labios los cuales al final serían los que le darían la expresión al personaje; para los ojos me anime a probar un tono verde amarillento y para los labios un rojo escarlata un poco suave con el pincel acuarela, para la creación de los ojos aplique muchos tonos ascendentes para darle buen brillo al iris y para los labios seguí trabajando con el mismo acuarela y solo oscurecí un poco donde se juntan el labio superior e inferior.

I really like the color blue, especially navy blue and electric, that's why for Paolah's clothes I decided to use a mix of both shades to create a pretty cool dress, my idea was that this dress had a slightly soft texture with many bright areas, to achieve this I had to mix watercolor brush and airbrush so that the resulting texture gave me that shape that I wanted so much; another thing I decided to add to the dress was some details on the sleeves in grayish color to get a more elegant look for the dress. Another thing that came to my mind later to add to the dress was a small pattern in reddish color all over the surface which I then blurred a little bit to make it blend much better with the blue tones; for the hair this time I wanted to vary a little and I chose to use the same range of blue tones to build a more unique hair, I created the volume of the hair with my open bristle brush and little by little I created the necessary locks to make the hair look quite realistic, and at the end I created a few strokes with white color to give that effect of brightness in the top which is produced thanks to the ambient light.

Me gusta muchísimo el color azul, sobre todo del azul marino y el eléctrico, es por ello que para la ropa de Paolah me anime a usar una mezcla de ambas tonalidades para crear un vestido bastante cool, mi idea era que este vestido tuviese una textura levemente suave con muchas zonas brillantes, para lograr esto tuve que hacer mezclar del pincel acuarela y aerógrafo de modo que las textura resultante me diera esa forma que tanto deseaba; otra cosa que decidí añadirle al vestido fueron unos detalles en las mangas en color grisáceo para conseguir una apariencia un poco mas elegante para el vestido. Otra cosa que se me ocurrió después para agregar al vestido fue un pequeño patrón en color rojizo por toda la superficie el cual luego difumine un poco para que se mezclase mucho mejor con los tonos azules; para el cabello esta vez quise variar un poco y opte por usar las misma gama de tonos azules para construir un pelo mas único, cree el volumen del pelo con mi pincel de cerdas abiertas y poco a poco cree los mechones necesarios para que el pelo se viese bastante realista, ya a lo ultimo plasme unos cuantos trazos con color blanco para dar ese efecto de brillo en la parte de arriba el cual se produce gracias a la luz del ambiente.

For the scenario of my drawing I made the interior of a room for this I first created a wall in yellow tone that would be right where Paolah is lying, I made strokes with a rough brush for the base of the wall and then with another square brush I created what would be vertical and horizontal lines that would give a more realistic appearance to everything; after having the wall ready I created with darker colors a little depth to make the wall much more noticeable and of course to make it look that there is another room behind it. Then I played a little with dark tones along with a couple of layer effects to give even more depth to the room and of course to correct some shadows on Paolah's body; then I finished off or retouched some things with light effects to highlight especially the greenish eyes of my character.

Para el escenario de mi dibujo hice el interior de una habitación para esto cree primero una pared en tonalidad amarilla que seria justo donde Paolah se encuentra recostada, realice trazos con un pincel rugoso para la base de la pared y luego con otro de punta cuadrada fui creando lo que serían líneas verticales y horizontales que le dieren una apariencia mas realista a todo; luego de tener la pared lista cree con colores más oscuros un poco de profundidad para que la pared se notara mucho más y por supuesto para que se viera que hay otra habitación detrás de ella. Luego jugué un poco con tonos oscuros junto con un par de efectos de capa para dar aun un poco mas de profundidad a la habitación y por supuesto para corregir algunas sombras en el cuerpo de Paolah; después rematé o retoque mejor dicho algunas cosas con efectos de luces para que resaltara sobre todo los ojos verdosos de mi personaje.
