Digital Art - Tori, A Sip of a Very Pure Blood.
What's up my people happy friday for all of you who read me and I hope you had a great week and above all very productive, I just got home and I thought I would not have time to publish today, but well here this to try to keep that rhythm of at least 4 posts per week that I proposed myself several days ago to try to be more productive. Today's work is one that I finished a couple of days ago and in which I tried to draw a cute Vampire girl that I decided to call Tori and who is enjoying a good drink of her favorite drink, that's right, it's a big glass full of fresh blood from one of her most recent victims:
Que pasa mi gente feliz viernes para todos los que por aquí me leen y ojalá hayan tenido una gran semana y sobre todo muy productivo, acabo de llegar a casa y creí que no me daría tiempo de publicar hoy, pero bueno aquí esto para tratar de mantener ese ritmo de al menos 4 post por semana que me propuse hace varios días atrás para tratar de ser más productivo. La obra del día de hoy es una que termine hace un par de días y en la cual trate de dibujar a una linda chica Vampira que decidí llamar Tori y la cual se encuentra disfrutando de un buen trago de su bebida favorita, así es, se trata de una gran copa llena de Sangre fresca de una de sus víctimas más recientes:

The idea of this work at first was to create a Vampire woman quite different from the previous ones I have been creating, for this I was creating poses and trying many things until I finally came up with the idea of adding a glass in her hand as if she was drinking a drink to relax, but it occurred to me that the drink instead of a glass of wine or other beverage would be better if it was a glass full of human blood to give better sense to the whole work. After finishing with the sketch I continued with the application of the colors, and I must say that it was quite late since I couldn't find colors that I liked enough; but well editing a little the color wheel and using layer effects I could get a tonality that half orange tonality for the skin.
La idea de esta obra en un principio era la de crear una mujer Vampira bastante diferente de las anteriores que he venido creando, para esto fui creando poses y probando muchas cosas hasta que finalmente se me vino la idea de añadir una copa en su mano como si se encontrara bebiendo un trago para relajarse, pero se me ocurrió que ese trago en lugar de una copa de vino u otra bebida lo mejor sería que fuese una copa llena de sangre humana para darle mejor sentido a toda la obra. Luego de terminar con el boceto proseguí con la aplicación de los colores, y debo decir que fue bastante tardado ya que no encontraba colores que me gustaran lo suficiente; pero bueno editando un poco la rueda de colores y usando efectos de capa pude conseguir una tonalidad esa tonalidad medio naranja para la piel.
The skin as you know is an important part of every drawing since it mostly lays the foundation for the other parts of the drawing, I applied those medium orange skin tones and then I traced with more fixed and defined brushes to establish the details of volume; all this before blurring properly all these strokes to soften the skin a little and not make it look so stiff and strange. I always create the details of the face in layers next to or close to the skin so I can more easily compare and correct details that I might have missed; for the eyes I used a light reddish tone and little by little I gave them the bloody look I had in mind for Tori's eyes.
La piel como sabrán es parte importante de todo dibujo ya que mayormente sienta las bases de los demás apartados del dibujo, fui aplicando esas tonalidades de piel medio naranja y luego fui trazando con pinceles más fijos y definidos para establecer los detalles de volumen; todo esto antes de difuminar adecuadamente todos estos trazos para suavizar un poco la piel y que no se vea tan acartonada y extraña. Siempre acostumbro a crear los detalles del rostro en capas conjuntas o cercanas a las de la piel para así comparar y corregir más fácilmente detalles que podría haber pasado por alto; para los ojos use una tonalidad rojiza clara y poco a poco fui dándole la apariencia sangrienta que tenía en mente para la mirada de Tori.
To create Tori's dress I also took some time because I wanted to use a different color than the ones I had used before in my works, that's why I decided to take a dark jade green and little by little I worked on this color, I decided to create a dress with long sleeves quite elegant and for that I used several layers to achieve some texture like folds and small wrinkles in the areas of the sleeves to give more realism to the dress; then to achieve a silk-like appearance I applied some high brightness and white colors to get what I wanted.
Para crear la vestimenta de Tori también me tomé algo de tiempo ya que quería utilizar un color diferente a los que había usado antes en mis obras, es por ello que decidí tomar un verde como jade bastante oscuro y poco a poco fui trabajando sobre este color, decidí crear un vestido de mangas largas bastante elegante y para ello empleé varias capas para lograr un poco de textura como de pliegues y pequeñas arrugas en las zonas de las mangas para darle mayor nivel de realismo a la vestimenta; luego para lograr una apariencia como de seda aplique algunos brillos altos y colores blancos para poder conseguir lo que quería.
For the hair I used yellowish tones to get a medium blonde look for Tori as I thought it would complement perfectly with the tones I chose for the skin; as I was going to create a fairly short hairstyle at shoulder length I gradually created the necessary relief with new brushes that I am testing, this to create that scattered look of several strands of hair one on top of the other in a quite natural and realistic way.
Para el cabello use tonalidades amarillentas para así conseguir una apariencia medio rubia para Tori ya que me pareció que se complementaría perfectamente con los tonos que elegí para la piel; como iba a crear un peinado bastante corto al largo de los hombros fui poco a poco creando el relieve necesario con nuevos pinceles que estoy probando, esto para crear esa apariencia como dispersa de varios mechones de cabello uno sobre el otro de manera bastante natural y realista.
A very interesting part of this work was when I created the glass in Tori's hand, this time I wanted to give it a different look than the typical white glass and so I used a deep gold to create a quite elegant glass; then I continued with the painting of the liquid and tried to create the blood as best as possible with the intention of making it look like real blood, I added some small bubbles inside and at the top of the liquid to give even more texture to the blood.
Una parte muy interesante de esta obra fue en la que cree la copa en la mano de Tori, esta vez quise darle una apariencia diferente al típico cristal blanco y por ello use un dorado intenso para crear una copa bastante elegante; luego continúe con el pintado del líquido y trate de crear la sangre lo mejor posible con la intención de que se viera como sangre de verdad, añadí algunas pequeñas burbujas dentro y en la parte alta del líquido para darle todavía más textura a la sangre.
