Leoly, The Quest for the Red Knight.
Hello my people, Happy Wednesday for all those who are here reading my post, today I come with a new work in the Valiant Knight style, this is a work entitled Leoly, the search for the Red Knight, in which we can see Arthur the Red Knight which is one of the best and most faithful warriors of a remote kingdom north of ancient Belgium, Arthur was a little orphan who was welcomed and protected by the royal family many years ago and thanks to this developed a deep affection and respect for the royal family. Unfortunately in recent years the King's health has been terribly affected by a strange disease that has left him bedridden, but there is an ancient legend in the kingdom that there is a strange and exotic fruit called (LEOLY) with special properties which are capable of curing almost any disease. That is why Arthur our Red Knight has decided to undertake the search for this coveted fruit, but to do so he must cross the dangerous and lonely Ruby Forest in which there are many of the most dangerous hunters who also crave the fruit, but to trade with her and for which they are capable of murdering anyone:
Hola mi gente, Feliz Miércoles para todos los que por aquí se encuentran leyendo mi post, el día de hoy vengo con una nueva obra al estilo Caballero Valiente, se trata de una obra titulada Leoly, la búsqueda del Caballero Rojo, en la cual podemos apreciar a Arthur el Caballero rojo el cual es uno de los mejores y más fieles guerreros de un recóndito reino al norte de la antigua Bélgica, Arthur fue un pequeño huérfano el cual fue acogido y protegido por la familia real muchos años atrás y gracias a esto desarrollo un profundo cariño y respeto por la familia real. Lastimosamente en los últimos años la salud del Rey se ha visto terriblemente afectada por una extraña enfermedad que lo ha dejado en cama; pero existe una antigua leyenda en el reino de que exista una extraña y exótica fruta llamada (LEOLY) con propiedades especiales las cuales son capaces de curar casi cualquier enfermedad. Es por ello que Arthur nuestro Caballero Rojo ha decido emprender la búsqueda de esta codiciada fruta, pero para ello debe cruzar el peligroso y solitario Bosque Rubí en el cual se encuentran muchos de los más peligrosos cazadores que también ansían la fruta, pero para comercializar con ella y por la cual son capaces de asesinar a quien sea:

For the main sketch of my work I focused on creating a young man about 20-30 years old with a stocky figure as it is a fierce warrior protector of the kingdom, first I devised the structure of the body and then proceeded with the drawing of the knight costume and hair for which I made a fairly neat half-side hairstyle. Then for the colors I used quite opaque tones at the beginning and after that I continued with stronger tones that would give more sense of realism to each aspect of the character.
Para el boceto principal de mi obra me centre en crear a un hombre joven de unos 20-30 años de edad con una figura fornida ya que se trata de un feroz guerrero protector del reino, primero idee la estructura del cuerpo y luego proseguí con el dibujado del traje de caballero y del cabello para el cual le realice un peinado de medio lado bastante prolijo. Luego para los colores use tonos bastantes opacos en un principio y luego de ello continúe con los tonos más fuertes que le irían dando más sentido de realismo a cada aspecto del personaje.
With the base color for the skin well achieved I continued with the painting of the eyes for which I used shades of orange to vary a little with the eye tones and also because I thought it looked good with the hair color later; I also took this moment to create a new layer to give shape and life to the knight Arthur's suit, the first thing I did was to paint a base color with a scarlet red and then I used a more intense tone in the sleeves area to make notice a difference between the lower part of the knight's suit and the upper part, this to make the suit look a little thicker to provide greater protection to the knight's body.
Con el color base para la piel bien logrado continúe con el pintado de los ojos para los cuales use tonos de naranja para variar un poco con los tonos de ojos y también pues me pareció que se le veía bien con el colore del cabello más adelante; también aproveche este momento para crear una nueva capa para ir dándole forma y vida al traje del caballero Arthur, lo primero que hice fue pintar una base de color con un rojo escarlata y luego utilice un tono más intenso en la zona de las mangas para hacer notar una diferencia entre la parte baja del traje del caballero y la parte alta, esto para que el traje se viera un poco más grueso para brindar mayor protección al cuerpo del caballero.
The next thing I did for the costume was to add a little more minimal details on the waist and lower torso, then with an X shaped brush I was adding small relief details to the torso area along with small touches on the shoulders. For the hair I used a fairly opaque orange tone with the airbrush, I did this to center a little base and then in upper layers was adding volume with a thin brush, then I was creating the hairstyle in the right direction with thinner strands and several touches of shine to give some more realism.
Lo siguiente que hice para el traje agregar un poco más detalles mínimos en la parte de la cintura y la parte baja del torso, luego con un pincel en forma de X fui agregando pequeños detalles de relieve a la zona de torso junto con pequeños toques en los hombros. Para el cabello usé un tono de naranja bastante opaco con el pincel aerógrafo, esto lo hice así para centrar un poco de base y luego en capas superiores fue añadiendo volumen con un pincel delgado, luego fui creando el peinado en dirección hacia la derecha con mechones más delgados y varios toques brillos para dar algo más de realismo.
Finally and to give a good end to my work I focused on creating what would be the main scenario of my work and it is the Ruby Forest, I could not wait to start painting this section from the moment I came up with the story of the character, I spent a lot of time and care to every detail to make it as good as possible; first of all I painted a dark green tone in the background with some brown lines, then I was detailing more and more those first bases with brushes a little more textured. Once I was achieving the right texture in the trunk of the trees then I continued with the leaves of the trees for which I was a little late because I wanted to make them very very scattered to give them the right level of realism, I did this for a while with the effect modes in several layers one on top of the other until I finally gave depth to the whole forest with some darker tones and small details of light in front.
Ya por último y para darle un buen final a mi obra me centre en crear lo que sería el escenario principal de mi obra y se trata del Bosque Rubí, no podía esperar para comenzar a pintar este apartado desde el momento que se me ocurrió la historia del personaje, le dedique bastante tiempo y cuidado a cada detalle para que quedara lo mejor posible; primero que nada plasme un tono verde oscuro en el fondo con algunas líneas marrones, luego fui detallando más y más esas primeras bases con pinceles un poco más texturizados. Una vez fui logrando la textura adecuada en el tronco de los arboles ahí si continúe con las hojas de los árboles para las cuales me tarde un poco pues quería hacerlas muy muy dispersas para darles el nivel de realismo adecuado, hice esto durante un rato con los modos de efecto en varias capas una sobre la obra hasta que finalmente le di profundidad a todo el bosque con algunos tonos más oscuros y pequeños detalles de luz al frente.
