Liahh, The Warrior of the Bloody Crimson Forest.
Hello my people, I hope you are very well and hopefully you are having a productive week, today I come with one more work for my art blog and it is about Liahh, The Warrior of the Crimson Forest; Liahh is a young warrior who belongs to a tribe hidden in the middle of a mysterious and strange Crimson forest, better known as the Forest of Blood. The truth is that I had a long time without making works about warriors and this seemed to me a good moment to take up a little bit of that, but in this case it would be a warrior a little different from the typical Amazonian warriors that I usually paint:
Que tal mi gente, espero que se encuentren muy muy bien y ojalá estén teniendo una productiva semana, hoy les vengo con una obra mas para mi blog de arte y se trata de Liahh, La Guerrera del Bosque Carmesí; Liahh es una joven guerrera la cual pertenece a una tribu escondida en el medio de un misterioso y extraño bosque de color Carmesí, mejor conocido como el Bosque de la Sangre. La verdad tenia mucho tiempo sin realizar obras sobre temática de guerreros y este me pareció buen momento para retomar un poco eso, pero en este caso se trataría de una guerrera un poco diferente a las típicas guerreras amazónicas que acostumbro a pintar:

My main idea for this work was to create a warrior who, despite being fierce, also transmitted a certain serenity and calmness in her look and expression; so I was playing for a while with the strokes and basic structures to build a character like the one I had in mind when I started drawing. Finally I managed to create a woman of an approximate age of 23 years old, with short hair and a somewhat strong build, but trying not to lose that feminine spark that should characterize this character; and then the colors was a little easier to choose them from my personal color palette.
Mi idea principal para esta obra era crear a una guerrera que, a pesar de ser feroz, también transmitiera cierta serenidad y calma en su mirada y expresión; por ello estuve jugando un buen rato con los trazos y con estructuras básicas para lograr construir un personaje como el que tenia en mente al inicia a dibujar. Finalmente conseguí crear a una mujer de una edad aproximada de 23 años, con cabello corto y una contextura algo fuerte, pero tratando de no perder esa chispa femenina que debe caracterizar a este personaje; ya luego los colores fue un poco más fácil elegirlos de mi paleta de colores personal.
As usual I always try to find base colors that agress me a lot to start with my drawings properly, and in this case I took several colors from my color palette and edited them slightly to get new shades; I took them a little bit towards the more saturated tones and found a good base for the skin, for example. I continued using a bit more pink tones for the volume, and once I achieved the desired texture I could move on to the eyes, which would give a calm and serene expression to Liahh; I used several gray and olive green colors, and from there I scaled to lighter and brighter tones.
Como es de costumbre siempre trato de encontrar colores base que me agreden mucho para iniciar con mis dibujos adecuadamente, y en este caso tome varios colores de mi paleta de color y los edite ligeramente para conseguir nuevas tonalidades; los lleve un poco hacia los tonos más saturados y así encontré una buena base para la piel, por ejemplo. Continue usando tonos un poco mas rosados para el voluminado, y una vez logré esa textura deseada allí si pude pasarme al pintado de los ojos, los cuales le darían una expresión tranquila y serena a Liahh; use varios colores grises y verdes olivas, y de allí escale a tonos un poco más claros y brillantes.
The next step in the process of painting Liahh was the creation of the warrior style clothing, this was not very complicated because as I mentioned, in the past I have drawn several works in this style; but in this case I wanted to give her a slightly different look than the ones I have done before. The first change I decided to make was related to the color, I decided to use a pasty green as a base and worked on it little by little in layers; then I added some small details in the shoulder part, neck and some kind of protective sleeves in the forearms.
El siguiente paso en el proceso de pintado de Liahh fue el de la creación de la vestimenta al estilo guerrera, esto no fue muy complicado ya que como les mencione, en el pasado he dibujado varias obras de este estilo; pero en este caso quería darle una apariencia un poco diferente a las que he hecho antes. El primer cambio que decidí hacer fue relacionado con el color, me anime a usar un verde pastoso como base y sobre el trabaje poco a poco en capas; luego agregue algunos pequeños detalles en la parte del hombro, cuello y unas especies de mangas protectoras en los antebrazos.
The creation of the warrior outfit took me quite some time, and a few layers to achieve the textured look I had in mind hehehehe, but well, I think the effort and time was worth it and I got a costume like the one I had imagined when I made the sketch. Once the suit was finished I decided to create a new layer and start coloring the hair, I used some very dark gray tones as a base and over them I drew several semi wavy lines along with some subtracted lines to blur a little.
La creación de la vestimenta de guerrera me tomo bastante tiempo, y unas cuantas capas para lograr ese texturizado que tenia en mente jejejej, pero bueno, creo que el esfuerzo y tiempo valieron la pena y logre un traje como el que había imaginado al realizar el boceto. Una ves terminado el traje decidí crear una nueva capa y comenzar a darle color al cabello, use algunos tonos grises muy oscuros como base y sobre ellos trace varias líneas semi- onduladas junto con algunas líneas restas para difuminar un poco.
Having finished with everything related to the character of Liahh, then I could concentrate on creating a good scenario that assimilated as best as possible to the bloody (Crimson Forest), and for this as you can imagine I used many intense red tones, including crimson red hehe; first I established a kind of base texture with a mixture of red colors and used several rough brushes, planes and airbrush. Finally I created the trees in a variation of dark brown and black tones, then it occurred to me to paint a little bit of grass-like leaves slightly high.
Ya habiendo finalizado con todo lo relaciona al personaje de Liahh, ahí si pude concentrarme en crear un buen escenario que asimilara lo mejor posible al sangriento (Bosque Carmesí), y para esto como imaginaran use muchos tonos rojos intensos, incluido el rojo carmesí jeje; primero establecí una especie de textura base con mezcla de colores rojos y use varios pinceles rugosos, planos y aerógrafo. Ya por último fui creando los árboles en variación de tonos marrones oscuros y negro, luego se me ocurrió pintar un poco de hojas como de pasto ligeramente altas.
