Very good afternoon my dear readers, happy Tuesday to all and I hope you are having an excellent day, I would like to start this week here on my blog sharing with you an illustration in which I was working full during this weekend, it is my participation for the dynamics of this week in the community of #Splinterlands, following the style of works of magical creatures and fantasies I found this interesting card as it is: (Blackmoor Nymph); as its name suggests it is a forest Nymph which has great powers, including the ability to use and control the elements of nature within the forests and swamps, in order to use them to count those creatures that seek to attack or destroy the ecosystem and the species that inhabit there. I hope you like my representation because I put a lot of love and full time to make it as good as possible, and without more to add I leave you with part of the process of painting and creation:

Muy buenas tardes mis queridos lectores y lectoras, feliz martes para todos y espero que estén teniendo un excelente día, me gustaría dar inicio a esta semana por aquí por mi blog compartiéndoles una ilustración en la que estuve trabajando full durante este fin de semana que paso, se trata de mi participación para la dinámica de esta semana en la comunidad de #Splinterlands, siguiendo un poco el estilo de obras de criaturas mágicas y de fantasías resulta que me encontré con esta interesante carta como es: (Blackmoor Nymph); como su mismo nombre lo indica se trata de una Ninfa de bosque la cual posee grandes poderes, entre ellos la habilidad de usar y controlar los elementos de la naturaleza dentro de los bosques y pantanos, para poder usarlos en contar de aquellas criaturas que buscan atentar o destruir el ecosistema y las especies que allí habitan. Espero que les guste mucho mi representación ya que le puse mucho cariño y full tiempo para que quedara lo mejor posible, y sin mas que agregar los dejo con parte del proceso de pintado y creación:

Well as always in each of my works I like to try a little and experiment with the creation of sketches until I get to one that is to my total liking, in this case I tried to keep the essence of the Ninfa in terms of age, I sketched her with an approximate age of about 30 years at most, with a pose in which you can see her arm raised over her head to throw a kind of magical aura or energy against her opponents; after finishing the sketch I like to choose the colors that will give life to my characters and I always like to start with the skin, in this case I opted for a soft blue-purple tone and with the help of low opacity brushes I created the volume of the skin very smoothly and mixing well the colors of light and shadows.

Bueno como siempre en cada una de mis obras me gusta probar un poco y experimentar con la creación de bocetos hasta que llego a uno que sea de mi total agrado, en esta caso trate de mantener la esencia de la Ninfa en cuanto a la edad, la boceté con una edad aproximada de unos 30 años como mucho, con una pose en la cual podrán ver levanta su brazo sobre su cabeza para arrojar una especie de aura mágica o energía contra sus adversarios; luego de terminar el boceto me gusta ir escogiendo los colores que darán vida a mis personajes y siempre me gusta iniciar por la piel, en este caso opte por una tonalidad azul-morada suaves y con ayuda de pinceles de baja opacidad fue creando el volumen de la piel con muchísima suavidad y mezclando bien los colores de luz y sombras.

In the 2nd step I dedicated myself to work the eyes of the (Blackmoor Nymph), for this I first created the base of the eyes with a color a little lighter than the skin and right in the center I was shaping the iris and the pupil of the eyes with yellow, green and a little white tones; then for the lips I wanted to create them of a slightly large size and with a smiling expression, here I played a little more with the volumes and the shines in the lower lip. For the creation of the hair I decided to use green tones a little more swampy to achieve an effect more to my style, with my flat brush I created what would be the whole base of the hair with a lot of volume in the lower part of the back, and then with the watercolor brush I created some thick strands that gave the hair a realistic and lively relief; as always with my small brush with 3 tips I like to give an extra realism with lines of somewhat random strands in the area of the sideburns, under the ears and of course on the sides of the hair, plus a small layer of glitter on the top with the mode (shine).

En el 2do paso me dedique a trabajar los ojos de la (Blackmoor Nymph), para esto primero cree la base de los ojos con un color un poco mas claro que el de la piel y justo en el centro fui dándole forma al iris y la pupila de los ojos con tonos amarillos, verdes y un poco de blanco; luego para los labios quise crearlos de un tamaño ligeramente grande y con una expresión sonriente, aquí jugué un poco mas con los volúmenes y los brillos en el labio inferior. Para la creación del pelo me anime a usar tonos verdes un poco mas pantanosos para logra un efecto más a mi estilo, con mi pincel plano cree lo que seria toda la base del cabello con mucho volumen en la parte baja de la espalda, y luego con el pincel de acuarela fui creando algunos mechones algo gruesos que dieran el relieve realista y vivo al cabello; como siempre con mi pincel pequeño de 3 puntas me gusta dar un realismo extra con líneas de mechones algo aleatorias en la zona de las patillas, debajo de las orejas y por supuesto en los lados del cabello, además de una pequeña capa de brillos en la parte alta con el modo (shine).

The creation of the clothing was the most difficult and delayed of the whole process, because here I took a little more freedom to create an outfit that I liked a lot, obviously I respected the original style of clothing of the letter, but for example in the torso I created a blouse a little tighter and elegant with golden details in the neck and other areas; also I had the idea of adding a small and subtle pattern of vegetation and leaves of bushes in the fabric of the blouse. As a complement for the dress it occurred to me that I could also paint some transparent sleeves from the lower part of the shoulder to the hands as a kind of gloves, for this I took a light green color to which and in a new layer I applied the Dodge effect at low opacity and so I could get to see a little skin under the sleeves; as with the blouse I also came up with the idea of adding a small pattern of bush leaves on the fabric of the sleeves so that it would be even more noticeable that the Nymph is the real protector of the ancient forests of the Blackmoor Basin.

La creación de la vestimenta fue quise lo más difícil y demorado de todo el proceso, ya que aquí si me tome un poco mas de libertad para crear un atuendo que me gustara mucho, respete obviamente el estilo de ropa original de la carta, pero por ejemplo en el torso cree una blusa un poco mas ajustada y elegante con detalles dorados en el cuello y otras zonas; además se me ocurrió la idea de agregar un pequeño y sutil patrón de vegetación y hojas de arbustos en la tela de la blusa. Como complemente para la vestimenta se me ocurrió que también podría pintar unas mangas transparentes que fueran desde la parte baja del hombro hasta las manos como especies de guantes, para esto tome un color verde claro al cual y en una capa nueva aplique el efecto Dodge a baja opacidad y así pude lograr que viese un poco la piel debajo de las mangas; al igual que con la blusa también se me ocurrió la idea de añadir un pequeño patrón de hojas de arbusto en la tela de las mangas de modo que se notase aún más que la Ninfa es la auténtica protectoras de los antiguos bosques de la Cuenca de Blackmoor.

I completed a little bit the clothing of (Blackmoor Nymph) with the painting of big gold earrings in her ears and a big yellow gem right on her forehead which lights up incandescently when she unleashes all her power, plus I created some green vines and branches of vegetation covering her arms; later for the background I came up with the idea of creating a kind of dark forest scenery with some dark purple trees giving a bit of depth perspective with a big and flashy greenish light just in the background of my canvas. To give a better idea of the powers of (Blackmoor Nymph) what I did was to create a soft violet magical aura coming out or emanating from the right arm of the Nymph, then in a top layer I detailed a little more the energy with a kind of lines a little more random and of a lighter and brighter color; finally, I decided to illuminate a little the gem of her forehead and of course the eyes to give it a little more epic touch.

Complete un poco la vestimenta de (Blackmoor Nymph) con el pintado de grandes arete de oro en sus orejas y una gran gema amarillas justo en su frente la cual se ilumina de forma incandescente cuando desata todo su poder, además de que cree algunas lianas verdes y ramas de vegetación cubriendo sus brazos; posteriormente para el fondo se me ocurrió la idea de crear una especie de escenario de bosque oscuro con algunos arboles de tonalidad morada oscura dando un poco de perspectiva de profundidad con una grande y llamativa luz verdosa justa en el fondo de mi lienzo. Para dar una mejor idea de los poderes de (Blackmoor Nymph) lo que hice fue crear un aura mágica de color violeta suave saliendo o emanando del brazo derecho de la Ninfa, luego en una capa superior detalle un poco más la energía con una especie de líneas un poco mas aleatorias y de un color mas claro y brillante; por último, decidí iluminar un poco la gema de su frente y por supuesto los ojos para darle un toque un poco más épico.
