Good afternoon, my dearest #Hive readers! I hope you’re having a wonderful day. This is your friend Manuel here, and I’m very excited to bring you a new digital illustration to share on my blog. This time, I drew inspiration for my work from the magical fantasy world of #Splinterlands, specifically focusing on the character Aurelia. I wanted to capture her mystical essence and her deep connection to nature, portraying her as a serene elven being in my own artistic style.

Muy buenas tardes mis queridísimos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, espero que estén teniendo un excelente día, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel, muy emocionado de traerles una nueva ilustración digital para compartir en mi blog. En esta oportunidad, inspiré mi trabajo en el mágico mundo de fantasía de #Splinterlands, específicamente tomando como punto de partida al personaje de Aurelia, para la cual quise capturar su esencia mística y su profunda conexión con la naturaleza, retratándola como una serena entidad élfica bajo mi propio estilo artístico.

PROCESS / PROCESO

For the development of this piece, I chose a medium shot composition that focuses on her elegant posture and expressive features. I gave her striking, long emerald-green hair with dynamic, spiked locks that flow wildly around her face. I focused a lot on her gaze, painting deep reddish-brown eyes that convey an ancient wisdom. For her skin, I applied smooth airbrush blending to define the soft highlights and shadows on her torso, shoulders, and face, adding prominent elven pointed ears to solidify her magical heritage.

Para el desarrollo de esta pieza, elegí una composición de plano medio que se enfoca en su elegante postura y sus rasgos expresivos. Le otorgué una llamativa y larga cabellera verde esmeralda con mechones dinámicos y puntiagudos que fluyen de forma salvaje alrededor de su rostro. Me enfoqué bastante en su mirada, pintando unos profundos ojos de tono rojizo que transmiten una sabiduría ancestral. Para su piel, apliqué un difuminado suave con el aerógrafo para definir las luces y sombras suaves en su torso, hombros y rostro, añadiendo unas prominentes orejas puntiagudas para consolidar su herencia mágica.

Her attire and accessories were carefully detailed to match the woodland theme. I designed an organic, metallic-looking collar piece in bronze and golden tones, adorned with a bright green gemstone embedded right at the center. Her outfit features earthy, dark fabric textures with sharp highlights on her claws and fingertips, creating a nice contrast between her wild appearance and her delicate, protective posture.

Su vestimenta y accesorios fueron cuidadosamente detallados para encajar con el tema boscoso. Diseñé una pieza de cuello orgánica con aspecto metálico en tonos bronce y dorados, adornada con una gema verde brillante incrustada justo en el centro. Su atuendo presenta texturas de tela oscura y terrosa, con brillos marcados en sus garras y en las yemas de sus dedos, creando un contraste agradable entre su apariencia salvaje y su postura delicada y protectora.

For the background, I created a warm, sunlit forest atmosphere that perfectly frames the character; I placed her within an opening formed by thick, twisted tree branches in shades of brown. Behind her, a soft, golden sun filters through the dense green foliage, casting a warm ambient glow throughout the scene. I used blurred background details and textured brushstrokes to create a sense of depth, ensuring that her vibrant hair and striking silhouette remain the main focal point.

Para el fondo estableci una atmósfera boscosa cálida y soleada que enmarca al personaje a la perfección, la ubiqué dentro de una abertura formada por ramas de árboles gruesas y retorcidas en tonos marrones. Detrás de ella, un sol suave y dorado se filtra a través del denso follaje verde, proyectando un resplandor ambiental cálido por toda la escena. Utilicé detalles de fondo difuminados y pinceladas texturizadas para generar una sensación de profundidad, asegurando que su cabello vibrante y su llamativa silueta sigan siendo el punto focal principal.
