Ayer se llevó a cabo el Meetup de Liketu para la comunidad de Barquisimeto, y el lugar seleccionado para esto no podía ser otro más que la hermosa Flor de Venezuela, uno de los principales atractivos de la ciudad, y que desde su inauguración se ha convertido en un verdadero ícono local.

En un principio, nos reunimos en el Centro Comercial Sambil, ubicado a corta distancia, porque las instalaciones de la Flor se encontraban en mantenimiento, sin embargo, esto no fue un obstáculo para compartir cordialmente entre amigos, algunos ya conocidos de eventos anteriores y otros que se unían por primera vez al grupo; mientras degustábamos una rica torta que alguna de las compañeras había llevado para la ocasión.

Posteriormente, nos trasladamos caminando hasta el lugar de encuentro, aprovechando su cercanía. Una vez allí, se dió inicio a las diversas actividades planificadas, entre las que destacan los diversos tips para publicar en Liketu, particularmente para quienes no están familiarizados con la aplicación, que compartió una compañera que se trasladó desde la ciudad de Valencia para asistir al Meetup.

Posteriormente, se realizaron sorteos de mercancía relacionada con Hive y Liketu, para lo cual había que responder correctamente a las preguntas formuladas por los anfitriones. Afortunadamente, fui uno de los ganadores, correspondiéndome como premio una franela que luciré orgullosamente en los próximos eventos de la comunidad.

Al final de la tarde, luego de ser anunciado por los altavoces, la Flor desplegó sus petálos mientras los reflectores de la estructura coloreaban la noche, lo que constituyó el cierre perfecto para este magnífico encuentro de amigos.

Yesterday took place the Liketu Meetup for the community of Barquisimeto, and the place selected for this could not be other than the beautiful Flower of Venezuela (Flor de Venezuela), one of the main attractions of the city, and that since its inauguration has become a true local icon.

At first, we met at the Sambil Mall, located a short distance away, because the facilities of the Flower were under maintenance, however, this was not an obstacle to share cordially among friends, some already known from previous events and others who were joining the group for the first time; while we tasted a delicious cake that some of the companions had brought for the occasion.

Afterwards, we walked to the meeting place, taking advantage of its proximity. Once there, we started the various activities planned, among which were the various tips for publishing in Liketu, particularly for those who are not familiar with the application, which was shared by a colleague who traveled from the city of Valencia to attend the Meetup.

Afterwards, there were raffles of merchandise related to Hive and Liketu, for which you had to answer correctly to the questions asked by the hosts. Fortunately, I was one of the winners, and the prize was a t-shirt that I will proudly wear in the next events of the community.

At the end of the evening, after being announced over the loudspeakers, the Flower unfurled its petals while the structure's spotlights colored the night, which was the perfect closing for this magnificent gathering of friends.
