A close-up is a photograph or video taken at very close range to generate a very detailed image.

It usually concentrates on the human figure from the shoulders up, and is used to focus on the character's feelings, with the camera placed very close.

At the beginning of last year, the older of my two sons finished his university studies, receiving his degree in Computer Engineering in a graduation ceremony held in the main auditorium of his Alma Mater.

The event took place during the morning, and after noon, we went to different parts of the campus to make the necessary photographic sessions in order to immortalize in images this extraordinary day that meant a just reward for their dedication and perseverance in achieving this goal.

The institution has ample green areas, which served as a backdrop for all the graduates of that day. In these particular photographs, my son is posing with his girlfriend, also a student.

Un close-up es una fotografía o video tomado a muy corta distancia para generar una imagen muy detallada.

Usualmente se concentra en la figura humana de los hombros para arriba, empleándose para enfocar los sentimientos del personaje, con la cámara ubicada muy cerca.

A principios del año pasado, el mayor de mis dos hijos finalizó sus estudios universitarios, otorgándosele su título de Ingeniero en Computación en un Acto de Grado celebrado en el auditorio principal de su Alma Mater.

El evento se efectuó durante la mañana, y al culminar pasado el mediodía, nos dirigimos a diferentes lugares del campus para realizar las sesiones fotográficas de rigor con el fin de inmortalizar en imágenes este extraordinario día que significó una justa recompensa por su dedicación y perseverancia en el logro de esta meta.

La institución cuenta con amplias áreas verdes, que sirvieron como telón de fondo para todos los graduandos de aquel día. En estas fotografías en particular, mi hijo posa junto a su novia, también estudiante.
