Silhouette
A silhouette is the shape that presents to the eye an object darker than the background on which it is projected. It consists of the outline and a featureless interior but with an identifiable or recognizable outline.
They are known for their simplicity and their ability to capture the essence of a person or object without the need to show every detail. This unique visual style has been employed in various forms throughout history and continues to be a relevant technique in the world of art, fashion, advertising and more.
These photos belong to my personal archive and correspond to the central monument of the Ayacucho Park, a square located in the city of Barquisimeto, inaugurated in 1933 and built to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of Ayacucho.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Una silueta es la forma que presenta a la vista un objeto más oscuro que el fondo sobre el cual se lo proyecta. Consiste en el esquema y un interior sin rasgos distintivos pero con un contorno identificable o reconocible.
Se les conoce por su simplicidad y su capacidad para capturar la esencia de una persona u objeto sin necesidad de mostrar todos los detalles. Este estilo visual único ha sido empleado de diversas formas a lo largo de la historia y sigue siendo una técnica relevante en el mundo del arte, la moda, la publicidad y más.
Estas fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, corresponden al monumento central del Parque Ayacucho, una plaza ubicada en la ciudad de Barquisimeto, inaugurada en 1933 y construida con el fin de conmemorar el centenario de la Batalla de Ayacucho.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
