Curiosity is an instinctive behavior observed in many animal species and human beings, basically oriented to the search for information, in addition to the interaction with other nearby beings and the environment in general.

It confers a survival advantage to certain species and can even be found encoded in their genomes. It is something that happens naturally, particularly in younger individuals.

These photos belonging to my personal archive were taken some years ago, during a visit to the Exotic Tropical Flora Park, a botanical garden with an extension of about 10 hectares, and a vast collection of plant species from different parts of the world, located in a former mission of Capuchin monks built in the middle of the 18th century, a short distance from the city of San Felipe in central Venezuela.

La curiosidad es un comportamiento instintivo observado en muchas especies animales y el ser humano, orientado básicamente a la búsqueda de información, además de la interacción con otros seres cercanos y el entorno en general.

Confiere una ventaja de supervivencia a ciertas especies y se puede, incluso, encontrar codificada en sus genomas. Es algo que sucede de manera natural, particularmente en los individuos más jóvenes.

Estas fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, las tomé algunos años atrás, durante una visita al Parque de la Exótica Flora Tropical, un jardín botánico que cuenta con una extensión de alrededor de 10 hectáreas, y una vasta colección de especies vegetales provenientes de diversas partes del mundo, y que se encuentra ubicado en una antigua misión de monjes capuchinos construida a mediados del Siglo XVIII a corta distancia de la ciudad de San Felipe en la parte central de Venezuela.
