Colors Come Alive | A Makeup Story I
Hello, Dear Hivers!
This afternoon, after having lunch I found myself in a boring circle. For the first time in months I turned on the T.V and actually watched it. I was enjoying Gumball’s madness until I heard my name coming from one of my drawers: “June, we are growing old in here” <<What?>> I thought. Who could be calling me? That voice didn’t belong to my paints, theirs is serene, like a wind’s cuddle; It wasn’t my instruments’ either. Theirs, depending on the instrument t that calls, Is melodious, while this voice was like a whisper, with a trace of pride. The only way to find out who that voice belonged to was opening the drawer. So, I put on all my courage together and went to my desk.
When I opened it:
“Sorry to bother” my eye shadows palette said “It’s just that since you don’t have concerts anymore you’ve…”
“Abandoned us!” interrupted the lipsticks.
They were right, I totally forgot about them. So, to compensate it I created this eye look you’re gonna see bellow, I hope you like it, me and my makeup really enjoyed it!
The lilac shadow was excited for all the time she had been “unused”, so I chose her fist and added it to my eye crease.
The fuchsia was starting to get jealous and rebel, and yet she was surprised when I chose her to give some depth to the crease.
I’ve never used much concealer because my eyebags are so dark that it makes them look even worse, but as it was sad for being underused, I decided to make a cut crease so it could contribute to this beautiful look.
“I think it needs more depth,” said the violet, outgoing as always, “why don’t you use me?” Though he was doing it for his own good, he was right, so I used him in a line above the concealer and blended it on the eyelid so it didn’t look too white.
I’m no used to using color liners, but I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and give my pink liner an opportunity to shine, so I added it to the look and used some pink shadow to put under my waterline.
“Hmm… it’s missing a bit of shine” said the silver eye shadow, and as I am a bit easy to convince I added it to the bone of my brow and to my lachrymal.
After painting my brows and my lips I considered it finished with some pictures you’ll see bellow.
I hope you liked it!
Thanks for stopping by!
Post credits scene:
“She didn’t use us,” cried the orange.
“Don’t worry,” said the red. “She’ll use us soon!”
“Of course she will,”
Interfered the black with hostile voice
“cause we’ll make her to…”
