Easy does it - Evening 10k run

I just finished a 10.062km running that lasted about 0hh:49mm:38ss !

Well, still struggling to string a few more than a couple runs together. A few things going on right now, but that shouldn't be any excuse. Anyways, on Saturday I had more time than usual before nightfall, so I was motivated to run, and even run a bit longer. I used again my winter trick, with long horizontal lines, giving me lots of chances to cut the run shorter if needed. Even though I managed to start a little slower than usual, my pace started to drop once again at the third mile. However, at the same time, I felt I could run longer, so in the end, it's my first run over 10k in quite a while. Of course, it's about 10 minutes slower than my best 10ks, but with my current form, the extra pounds, and of course years, I'll take it!

I didn't see much wildlife at the beginning, but they again all woke up as we got closer to dusk. Lots of deer, a couple of racoons, and rabbits. It's just nice to see all these critters while running. Other than that, just a regular run, on my usual local neighborhood streets.
Now, let's see if I am finally able to repeat runs consistently.
