Evening Run

I just finished a 7.755km running that lasted about 0hh:38mm:07ss !

Keeping the streak alive, Sunday was a running day. I was hoping to continue the somewhat steady progress. The temperature cooled down a bit in the evening, and there was a light breeze that made it almost nice. I also felt much lighter on my feet again (although this feeling is not confirmed by the scale yet, hopefully soon), and really full of energy. And of course, that means I started way to fast for my current form! Almost 40 seconds per mile faster than last run! Of course, I could not sustain that pace, and the progression was opposite from last run, slower and slower along the way:

The fact that the mentioned light breeze turned into a strong headwind at some point didn't help. But the good news is that the distance was again longer, and in spite of the steady slow down, the final average pace was still 13 seconds per mile faster than last run. So, I'll still call that progress. I've never been too good at that, but if I could control the initial energy burst better, that would make for better runs.

Target for this week is of course to keep alternating running and biking days. I'm hoping to complete a 10k by the end of this week, without a target on the pace yet though. Till then, keep Exhausting!
