Evening run - Some progress
I just finished a 8.062km running that lasted about 0hh:38mm:31ss !
Well, this July month is still not going the way I wanted for my training. I skipped my run again on Friday, after a pretty busy day, I finished the last walk with the dogs late and I just didn't have the energy to go for a late night run. So, Saturday it is then! The weather was very sunny, and although a bit hot, not as bad as some of the past days. For once, I managed to get started before 8pm with full daylight! That was an opportunity to try out a different route. Still on the local streets of course, because most days I don't feel like driving somewhere just to run. But I included streets I usually don't visit, or even the ones I do visit often, I ran them in the opposite direction this time. It's always good to change up the route sometimes.
The run itself was pretty good. Even if I was feeling the extreme lack of sleep, I unintentionally started significantly faster than the last runs. When I noticed, I thought I would crash pretty quickly, but in the end the pace was somewhat consistent all the way till the end:
And for sure faster than it's been recently. I guess even with this slow start in July, I am back on the progress train. But now let's see if I can keep that up. Sunday is quite busy again, but I hope I can squeeze in a solid bike ride.
Till then, keep Exhausting!
Like I repeated, so far, way behind on my targets for July:
Sports | June Total (miles) | June Total (km) |
---|---|---|
Running | 13.43 | 21.6 |
Cycling | 24.89 | 40.05 |
im walking the house like a crazy mad dog all day long so i would have to be fit
If you can't or don't want to go out, that works too.
