Shadowhunters Contest/SMASh Round 191: Preparing for Winter

Hello Dear Shadowhunters Community!

The house I live in now is a detached house. When the weather gets cold in this house, we have to use a stove to warm up. We buy our wood and coal before the weather gets cold. I did not buy wood and coal this year. Because I was dreaming of moving into my natural gas-heated house I bought. Yes, I bought a new house with great difficulty. I wanted to have a more comfortable home. I rented the house to someone else until the debt was paid off. But unfortunately, the person I rented the house to still lives in my house. We cannot get the tenant out of the house. In our country, the laws completely protect the tenant. We will apply to the court to get him out of our house. Anyway...

We break old, unused furniture and wooden doors in our house until we buy wood and coal and get fuel for ourselves.

The shadows of the items I used while breaking or cutting these boards today caught my attention and I wanted to share it with you. Cuts, ax and saw. I used these three ingredients. I used the saw a lot. I cut the unbreakable boards with a saw. Of course, we did this with my wife. My wife is much more skilled at such things than I am :)

Our first photo is a cut and its shadow. I put a wide board under the materials to make the shadow look clearer.

Our second photo is a small axe.

Our third photo is a saw. I think the shade of the saw teeth looks nice.

At the end of the day, we got four crates of wood like this. The wood we ordered will arrive next week. By then, I think the wood we cut today will be enough for us.

These chickens came to us. We offered feed to those chickens. They gave us beautiful poses.
