Penne Rigate Red Squid and Shrimp

Ingredients :

Pasta Penne Rigate (Barilla)
Red Squid (500 grams)
Pink shrimps (500 grams)
Olive oil
Basil
Tomato concentrate
water 20 cl
Cloves of garlic x3
Onion x1
Salt/Pepper

Preparation

  • Empty and clean all the squid and peel 250 grams of shrimp, keeping 250 grams unpeeled for later.

  • Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan.

  • Peel 3 cloves of garlic and 1 onion, chop them and put them in the frying pan on medium heat for about 5 minutes.

  • During this time, cut your squid in small pieces add the shrimps and then put them in the frying pan and mix.

  • Now add the peeled and unpeeled shrimp and finely chopped basil to the pan and cook for about 10 minutes.

  • Add the tomato paste and 20 cl of water, stir and add salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
