[ESP] Traten a los demás como quieren que ellos los traten a ustedes.
[ENG] Treat others as you want them to treat you.
1.- No den a los perros las cosas santas.
2.- Traten a los demás como quieren que ellos los traten a ustedes.
3.- Entren por la puerta estrecha.
En la sociedad antigua los perros no eran animales tan dóciles como los vemos ahora, en su gran mayoría eran montaraz; por esa razón, quienes se encontraban de frente con una jauría salvaje corrían riesgo de muerte y en cuanto a los cerdos eran considerado animales inmundos, asqueroso, nauseabundos, impuros... por eso, Jesús de Nazaret, utiliza ese simil para indicarle a sus discípulos que existen personas pecadoras que prefieren estar en la oscuridad del lado de la maldad y no toleran la luz, no toleran las cosas de Dios; esas personas son verdaderamente peligrosas por lo que deben evitarse, recordemos Proverbios 14:16 sabio teme y se aparta del mal; Mas el insensato se muestra insolente y confiado. Proverbios 23:9 «No hables a oídos del necio, porque menospreciará la prudencia de tus razones.»
La segunda recomendación no necesita mayor explicación: Traten a los demás como quieren que ellos los traten a ustedes. Aquí solo agregaré: Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. (Mateo 22:36-40)
La tercera recomendación hace un llamado a alejarse de los excesos, de los vicios, de los pecados capitales y buscar al Señor y su Justicia. Jesús nos invita a permanecer en Él, en el Espíritu de Verdad, el Páráclito y nos invita a seguir el camino iluminado que conduce hasta Dios, pero para ellos debemos renunciar a nosotros mismos por amor a Jesucristo: “Así, pues, cualquiera de vosotros que no renuncia a todo lo que posee, no puede ser mi discípulo.” Lucas 14:33
Entren por la puerta estrecha; porque ancha es la puerta y amplio el camino que conduce a la perdición, y son muchos los que entran por él. Pero ¡qué estrecha es la puerta y qué angosto el camino que conduce a la vida, y qué pocos son los que lo encuentran!”

In ancient society, dogs were not as docile animals as we see them now, the vast majority were wild; for that reason, those who were in front of a wild pack ran the risk of death and as for the pigs, they were considered filthy, disgusting, nauseous, impure animals... that is why Jesus of Nazareth used that simile to indicate to his disciples that there are sinful people who prefer to be in the dark on the side of evil and do not tolerate the light, do not tolerate the things of God; those people are truly dangerous so they should be avoided, let's remember Proverbs 14:16 wise fear and turn away from evil; But the fool rageth and confident. Proverbs 23:9 "Speak not in the ears of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your reasoning."
The second recommendation needs no further explanation: Treat others as you want them to treat you. Here I will only add: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22: 36-40)
The third recommendation makes a call to get away from excesses, vices, deadly sins and seek the Lord and his Justice. Jesus invites us to remain in Him, in the Spirit of Truth, the Counselor and invites us to follow the illuminated path that leads to God, but for them we must renounce ourselves for the love of Jesus Christ: "So then, any of you who does not renounce all that he possesses, cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33
Enter through the narrow gate; For wide is the gate and wide is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But how narrow is the gate and how narrow is the way that leads to life, and how few are those who find it!
En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “No den a los perros las cosas santas ni echen sus perlas a los cerdos, no sea que las pisoteen y después se vuelvan contra ustedes y los despedacen.
Traten a los demás como quieren que ellos los traten a ustedes. En esto se resumen la ley y los profetas.
Entren por la puerta estrecha; porque ancha es la puerta y amplio el camino que conduce a la perdición, y son muchos los que entran por él. Pero ¡qué estrecha es la puerta y qué angosto el camino que conduce a la vida, y qué pocos son los que lo encuentran!”

At that time, Jesus told his disciples: “Do not give the dogs the holy things or throw your pearls to the pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and then turn against you and tear you to pieces.
Treat others as you want them to treat you. In this the law and the prophets are summed up.
Enter through the narrow gate; For wide is the gate and wide is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But how narrow is the gate and how narrow is the way that leads to life, and how few are those who find it!
