Hola a todos!! Espero que se encuentren muy bien, como algunos saben soy de Táchira Venezuela, en el mes de enero se celebra La Feria Internacional de San Sebastián, como lo indica el nombre en honor al patrono de la ciudad de San Cristóbal, muchos se preguntaran quien es San Sebastián, les voy a resumir un poco, cuentan que en el Santoral Romano San Sebastián fue un mártir que murió asesinado por flechas, se convirtió en el patrono de la ciudad cuando esta fue atacada por los indígenas y los habitantes se encomendaban a él por miedo a morir por las flechas. Ahora bien, continuemos con el motivo principal del post.

Hello everyone! I hope you are very well, as some of you know I am from Táchira Venezuela, in the month of January is celebrated the International Fair of San Sebastian, as the name suggests in honor of the patron saint of the city of San Cristobal, many will wonder who is San Sebastian, I will summarize a little, they say that in the Roman Santoral San Sebastian was a martyr who died killed by arrows, became the patron saint of the city when it was attacked by the Indians and the inhabitants were entrusted to him for fear of dying by arrows. Este año se celebra la 58 edición de la Feria Internacional de San Sebastián o mejor conocida como la Feria Gigante de América, en el marco de la misma se desarrolla un cronograma con las actividades que se llevaran a cabo a lo largo del mes de enero, y una de ella es el desfile, este se desarrolla por lo general el segundo sábado del mes, se realiza en una de las principales avenidas de la ciudad, la cual es Av España.

En esta ocasión el desfile conto con la participación de más de 73 agrupaciones, también, con bandas shows, comparsas, vehículos antiguos, zancos, carrozas que llevaban a las candidatas que participan en la elección y coronación de la Reina de la FISS 2023, cabe destacar, que esta vez se contó con la participación de dos bandas shows de Colombia.

On this occasion the parade counted with the participation of more than 73 groups, also, with bands shows, comparsas, antique vehicles, stilts, floats carrying the candidates participating in the election and coronation of the Queen of the FISS 2023, it should be noted that this time there was the participation of two bands shows of Colombia.

El inicio del desfile estaba programado para las 10 am, empezó un poco más tarde y el sol estaba es su mayor esplendor, pero esto no fue impedimento para disfrutar de este espectáculo, que representa una tradición para el pueblo tachirense y con él se da formalmente el inicio a la Feria Internacional de San Sebastián.
