Today I allow myself to share with you what the reading of one of the books written by the magic pen of Paulo Coelho in 2008 meant for me; It is his XII novel; This Brazilian writer who currently enjoys numerous mentions, among them, since 2007 he is the Messenger of Peace of the UN with his particular narration he has given a special way to his stories to wrap me between his lines in an almost amazing, from that pen came The Victor Is Alone; here it focuses its plot on the attractive environment of the International Canne Festival, where it is allowed to describe the world of celebrities and everything that is woven around them; With particular subtlety, he refers to what fame, money, resentment, envy, ambition and greed make a mixture in a very strange way with love, personal effort, the immense desire to improve and sacrifice; These feelings that at some point in our lives we can feel and that the way we channel them will allow us to emerge victorious from them.

This is how The victor is alone stands out among the works of the author, for going beyond glamor, luxury and fame, which by making an exhaustive and deep interpretation, invites us to enter into an unfathomable reflection , about what we expose ourselves to when it comes to fulfilling dreams; Are we ready to face with courage and dignity that evil world that is shown with a smiling mask? Will there be enough fortitude to issue an answer that leads us not to devalue ourselves by obtaining fame and money? It is strong to face the unknown without sufficient maturity in the face of the adverse circumstances that surround that shocking and moving journey to the nucleus from which you can obtain unimaginable rewards, fame.

Hoy me permito compartir con ustedes lo que significó para mí la lectura de uno de los libros escritos por la pluma mágica de Paulo Coelho en el año 2008; es su XII novela; este escritor Brasilero que actualmente disfruta de numerosas menciones, entre ellas, desde el año 2007 es el Mensajero de la Paz de la ONU con su particular narración le ha dado una forma especial a sus historias para envolverme entre sus líneas de una manera casi asombrosa, de esa pluma salió El Vencedor Está Solo; aquí centra su trama en el entorno atractivo del Festival Internacional de Canne, donde se permite describir el mundo de las celebridades y todo lo que se teje a su alrededor; con particular sutileza refiere lo que la fama, el dinero, el rencor, la envidia, la ambición y la avaricia hacen una mezcla de forma muy extraña con el amor, el esfuerzo personal, los deseos inmensos de superación y el sacrificio; sentimientos éstos que en algún momento de nuestras vidas podemos llegar a sentir y que nos va permitir salir victoriosos de ellos la forma como los canalicemos.

Es así, como El vencedor está solo se destaca entre las obras del autor, por ir mas allá del glamour, el lujo y la fama, que al hacer una interpretación exhaustiva y profunda, nos invita a adentrarnos en una insondable reflexión, sobre a qué nos exponemos cuando de cumplir sueños se trata; estamos preparados para afrontar con valentía y dignidad ese mundo perverso que se muestra con una máscara sonriente? se tendrá la suficiente entereza para emitir una respuesta que nos lleve a no desvalorizarnos por obtener fama y dinero? Es fuerte enfrentarse a lo desconocido sin la suficiente madurez ante las circunstancias adversas que rodean ese viaje estremecedor y enternecedor al núcleo de donde se puede obtener recompensas inimaginables, la fama.

Hence, that The Victor is Alone takes place in the City of Cannes, during the celebration of the Film Festival, tells the story that Igor the protagonist, a Russian billionaire, mentally unbalanced after having participated in the war in Afghanistan, He states that killing people for any reason in his opinion is acceptable, and that cause is to recover a lost love; something that in our society is punished. Igor appears at the festival with a totally crazy and Machiavellian plan, with which he intends to rip his ex-wife from the side of her current husband at all costs, because in her way of seeing things she has a pact with him with the most there. Hence, the struggle between the evil individual force and the good of society is present, everyone finds out and there is a double standard; because appearance predominates with people willing to do anything to achieve their goals. Sadly 3 of the 4 main characters allow their dreams to be manipulated.

It is because of what can be expressed, that the author, through this novel, makes use of a universal language to describe, alert, visualize and caricature the image of a world that through excess of glamor and greed has been destroyed, so in this harmonious way, it shows the world and those who take the time to read it, the heartbreaking consequences suffered by those who are obsessed with obtaining fame at the cost of anything, even giving their lives.

Es importante resaltar, que en este crudo relato de la vida real, donde el poder de unos inescrupulosos seres, es capaz de romper sin medida los sueños inocentes de quien intenta surgir en ese agitado mundo de la fama, que sin medir consecuencias se valen de ciertas manipulaciones para destruirles el éxito a quien pudiera llegar a alcanzarlo.

De allí, que El Vencedor está solo se desarrolla en la Ciudad de Cannes, durante la celebración del Festival de Cine, cuenta la historia que Igor el protagonista, un multimillonario ruso, mentalmente desequilibrado después de haber participado en la guerra de Afganistán, manifiesta que matando personas por alguna causa a su juicio es aceptable, y esa causa es recuperar un amor perdido; algo que en nuestra sociedad es penado. Igor se presenta en el festival con un plan totalmente descabellado y maquiavélico, con el que pretende arrancar a su ex esposa a toda costa del lado de su actual esposo, porque a su manera de ver las cosas ella tiene con él un pacto con el mas allá. De allí, que la lucha entre la maligna fuerza individual y los buenos de la sociedad se hace presente, todos se enteran y se vive una doble moral; debido a que, predomina la apariencia con personas dispuestas a cualquier cosa con tal de conseguir sus objetivos. Tristemente 3 de los 4 personajes principales permiten que les manipulen sus sueños.

Es por lo que se puede expresar, que el autor, hace uso por medio de esta novela de un lenguaje universal para describir, alertar, visualizar y caricaturizar la imagen de un mundo que por medio del exceso de glamour y de avaricia ha sido destruido, por lo que de esta forma armoniosa, muestra al mundo y a los que se toman el tiempo para leerlo, las desgarradoras consecuencias que llegan a sufrir los que se obsesionan con obtener fama a costa de lo que sea, hasta de entregar su vida.
