Recordando mi época del liceo me encontré con algunas fotografías de uno de los mejores eventos a los que pude asistir en mi último año, para el cual fui elegida para representar el 5º año en compañía de mi mejor amiga y otros estudiantes de los demás años, fue una experiencia muy bonita demás de educativa ya que debimos prepararnos bien durante varias semanas para dar lo mejor en nuestra participación, han pasado 10 años desde ese día pero aun lo recuerdo al igual que esa emoción que sentí al formar parte de ese grupo, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes esa maravillosa experiencia y lo sucedido en ese gran día, sin más, ¡aquí les cuento!
Remembering my time in high school, I came across some photographs of one of the best events I could attend in my last year, for which I was chosen to represent the 5th year in the company of my best friend and other students from the other years, It was a very nice experience as well as an educational one since we had to prepare ourselves well for several weeks to give our best in our participation, 10 years have passed since that day but I still remember it as well as that emotion I felt being part of that group, today I want to share with you that wonderful experience and what happened on that great day, without further ado, ¡here I tell you!
Se trataba de un debate llamado Encuentro de saberes, en el que varios liceos se enfrentarían en un debate de preguntas de diferentes temas, eran 10 participantes por cada institución, dos por cada año y los elegidos eran los estudiantes con el mejor promedio de su año, allí fuimos elegidas mi mejor amiga Valery y yo para representar el 5º año y otros 8 estudiantes más de los demás años, ahora que he visto nuevamente las fotos me doy cuenta que en ese debate estuvo el hiver @soldierofdreams a quien conocí en ese momento pero no recordaba.
It was a debate called Meeting of knowledge, in which several high schools would face each other in a debate of questions on different topics, there were 10 participants from each institution, two from each year and the chosen ones were the students with the best average of her year, there my best friend Valery and I were chosen to represent the 5th year and 8 other students from the other years, now that I have seen the photos again I realize that hiver was in that debate @soldierofdreams who I met at the time but didn't remember.
Durante varias semanas la profesora encargada de nuestra preparación nos reunía en la biblioteca del liceo para prepararnos con los temas del debate con preguntas, lectura y demás, todo esto para que pudiéramos aprender todo lo necesario para defendernos durante el encuentro con los demás liceos, el cual se llevó a cabo en el club de PDVSA de Punta de Mata y para ese día nos colocaron transporte, refrigerios, almuerzo, entre otros beneficios.
For several weeks the teacher in charge of our preparation would meet us in the high school library to prepare us with the topics of the debate with questions, reading and others, all this so that we could learn everything necessary to defend ourselves during the meeting with the other high schools, the which took place at the PDVSA club in Punta de Mata and for that day we were given transportation, snacks, lunch, among other benefits.
Fuimos los primeros en llegar al lugar y mientras esperábamos por el resto paseamos por las instalaciones y tomamos algunas fotos, por otro lado también repasábamos todo lo aprendido para este día ayudándonos entre sí con preguntas o conversando sobre temas en general.
We were the first to arrive at the place and while we waited for the rest we walked around the facilities and took some photos, on the other hand we also reviewed everything we learned for this day helping each other with questions or talking about topics in general.
Para dar inicio al debate nos explicaron cómo funcionaría, sería con el formato como el del programa de televisión ¿Quién quiere ser millonario?, jugaríamos de dos en dos liceos y cuando fue nuestro turno fue imposible no sentirnos algo nerviosos, no podíamos equivocarnos, de ello dependería nuestro puntaje para ganar y debíamos ganar y demostrar que estábamos muy bien preparados, así que iniciado el juego nos colocamos en círculo para comunicarnos mejor y cada pregunta que se nos hacia la podíamos debatir con el resto del grupo y podía responder cualquiera, también teníamos la opción de usar comodines como en el programa de televisión pero la idea era no usarlos y responder todo por nuestra cuenta, claro que nuestros profesores no podían ayudarnos ni soplarnos las respuestas, así que debíamos defendernos por nuestra cuenta, después de todo para eso habíamos estudiado tanto.
Según recuerdo se nos hizo un total de 10 preguntas aproximadamente, de las cuales yo respondí 2 y un compañero se equivocó en una, creíamos que eso nos afectaría mucho al final pero en realidad no fue así, al final de todo no podía haber perdedores, todos resultamos ganadores y a cada liceo le dieron como premio 2 juegos de mesa para la institución, por nuestra parte los dejamos a cargo de los profesores que nos acompañaron al debate y solo debíamos pedir prestado, jugar y devolverlo para que otros estudiantes pudieran usarlos.
To start the debate, they explained to us how it would work, it would be in the format of the television program Who wants to be a millionaire?, we would play two high schools at a time and when it was our turn it was impossible not to feel a little nervous, no We could make mistakes, our score would depend on it to win and we had to win and show that we were very well prepared, so once the game started we stood in a circle to communicate better and we could discuss each question that was asked of us with the rest of the group and I could answer any, we also had the option to use wildcards like in the TV show but the idea was not to use them and answer everything on our own, of course our teachers couldn't help us or blow us on the answers, so we had to defend ourselves by our account, after all, for that we had studied so much.
As I recall, we were asked a total of approximately 10 questions, of which I answered 2 and a colleague was wrong in one, we thought that this would affect us a lot in the end but in reality it was not like that, at the end of everything there could be no losers, We were all winners and each high school was awarded 2 board games for the institution, for our part we left them in charge of the teachers who accompanied us to the debate and we only had to borrow, play and return it so that other students could use them.
Al final del debate nos fuimos muy felices de vuelta al liceo, con nuestro premio y emocionados por todo lo vivido en ese día, fue una experiencia in duda inolvidable y esa fue la única vez que participé en algo así, realmente me encantó formar parte de ese grupo y me sentí feliz de haber sido elegida para representar el 5º año de mi liceo, fueron muy buenos tiempos en los que me gustaba estudiar y disfrutaba hacerlo, hoy en día no entiendo cómo podía memorizar tantas cosas y mantener un buen promedio, pero lo cierto es que lo hice y siento que aproveché muy bien es último año de bachillerato, como recuerdo de ese día aún conservo el carnet que nos dieron a cada uno de los participantes del debate, verlo hoy 10 años después me hace sentir mucha nostalgia y a veces hasta me hace querer desear volver a esa época, aunque no todo era muy bueno hay cosas que extraño que realmente disfruté en su momento.
At the end of the debate we went back to the high school very happy, with our prize and excited by everything we experienced that day, it was an unforgettable experience and that was the only time I participated in something like this, I really loved being part of that group and I was happy to have been chosen to represent the 5th year of my high school, they were very good times in which I liked to study and enjoyed doing it, nowadays I don't understand how I could memorize so many things and maintain a good average, but the truth is that I did it and I feel that I made the most of it, it is my last year of high school, as a memory of that day I still have the card that they gave each of the debate participants, seeing it today 10 years later makes me feel very nostalgic and Sometimes it even makes me want to go back to that time, although not everything was very good, there are things that I miss that I really enjoyed at the time.

Oh, jajaja nunca olvido ese debate. Recuerdo que cuando me tocó responder una pregunta, se me había olvidado todo por los nervios y entonces elegí al azar la opción C 😆, y fue la ganadora jajaja 🤣. Fue una época muy bonita, y un encuentro realmente maravilloso. Gracias por recordarlo. Jejeje quien diría que 10 años después estamos ambos en Hive 😆.
Holaaa, yo recuerdo que la primera pregunta que nos hicieron la respondí yo pero la habían planteado de una forma diferente y estaba nerviosa pero la acerté jaja yo no recordaba que tu estuvieras allí, osea, te conozco como primo de Cori pero no recordaba que habíamos compartido ese debate, viendo las fotos fue que me di cuenta y aun así no estaba segura pero definitivamente eras tu, fue bonito recordar ese momento y quise compartirlo, te envío un abrazo!
Bueno recuerdos de una época feliz, siempre he dicho que unas de las mejores etapas de nuestra vida es la del estudiante, que bueno que aun conservas esas fotos. Recordar es vivir. Mis saludos amiga.
Así es amiga, fue una buena época, a veces en el momento no lo vemos así pero cuando esos momentos se convierten en recuerdos es cuando mas los valoramos y extrañamos, hoy reviví ese día con estas fotos y me dio mucha nostalgia ♥️ saludos para ti también 😍
Que buenos recuerdos, este tipo de actividades de conocimientos era todo un honor ser parte, ya que el nivel académico que reinaba en el ambiente era sumamente gratificante, y el orgullo de ser parte de esto era impresionante.
Hola, de verdad que momentos como estos son los mejores recuerdos que podemos conservar, recuerdo que para ese debate estaba nerviosa pero a la vez feliz de formar parte de ese grupo para representar el liceo, hoy veo esas fotos y recuerdo cada detalle, creo que es la mejor parte de conservar fotos, gracias por pasar, saludos!
