El palacio no se abre para realizar visitas turísticas, salvo en diciembre para contemplar el Belén y otras excepciones. Pero sabemos que su interior no contiene unos espacios espectaculares. La escalera principal es pequeña y de carácter funcional debido a la modificación del proyecto de Marquet por parte del conde de Aranda, como presidente del Consejo de Castilla, quiso destinar parte del edificio a cuartel de Guardia de Prevención.
La Real Casa de Correos es un edificio situado en la parte meridional de la Puerta del Sol de Madrid. Su construcción data de finales de la segunda mitad del siglo xviii, y se trata del edificio más antiguo de la Puerta del Sol.

The palace is not open for tourist visits, except in December to see the Nativity Scene and other exceptions. But we know that its interior does not contain spectacular spaces. The main staircase is small and functional due to the modification of Marquet's project by the Count of Aranda, who, as president of the Council of Castile, wanted to use part of the building as a barracks for the Prevention Guard.
The Real Casa de Correos is a building located in the southern part of the Puerta del Sol in Madrid. Its construction dates from the end of the second half of the eighteenth century, and it is the oldest building in the Puerta del Sol.

Aunque el palacio no esté abierto para visitas turísticas en la mayoría del año, es emocionante saber que en diciembre se permite admirar el Belén y otras excepciones. Aunque su interior no sea espectacular, es interesante conocer su historia y las modificaciones que ha experimentado a lo largo del tiempo. La función original del edificio como cuartel de Guardia de Prevención muestra cómo se adaptó a las necesidades de la época.
