Me gustaría invitar a mis amigas @yohadvartse y @ckairelys

ENGLISH

Hello hello Hive friends! I saw that one of my favorite communities has organized a contest and of course I wanted to participate, although lately I haven't shared any review or opinion about books (I had almost 2 months with reader's block, luckily for me it ended this week and I got hooked with a book) I decided to participate and give my answers about my time as a reader, I've said it a lot here, about how reading has been something important for me since I was a teenager, how it has helped me to not only take refuge but to push myself little by little.

I would like to invite my friends. @yohadvartse and @ckairelys

What is your favorite time or place to read?

My favorite moment? Probably when I'm stressed or upset about something, it helps me a lot to disconnect a little bit from reality, although it really helps me focus more on the reading and what's going on in the story and how it's unfolding.

My favorite place? I think my bed, I like to relax in my sheets, very cold and enjoy the story, in other places I feel a bit uncomfortable, but in my bed I can move as I please 😂.

What makes you enjoy a book?

The story and creativity, in recent years I have become a fan of fantasy books, or futuristic books, where they show us a different world and how they develop it, I admire and appreciate that level of creativity when making a book, although I like romance books, I feel that these are my favorite genres and that they catch me more, they have more action and adventure, something that of course makes me enjoy the story.

Do you like to read outdoors, before bed or on the bus on your way to work?

I like to read before going to bed, but there are times when I get tired and I have to reread the pages to understand what is happening, as I said before I am not a fan of reading in public, too much movement or too many interruptions which do not let me focus or enjoy the book.

Do you focus on character development, thoughtful messages, or the level of intrigue a plot generates in you?

I sincerely feel that everything influences, so I like to see all this in a story, many times the trauma of the story takes a radical turn, which makes the main character also have a change and therefore a development, one where he can change and improve his ideals, giving us reflective moments.

So I like to see a little bit of everything in the books, but mainly I like to see the development of the person whether it's the main one or a secondary one, how little by little or drastically they have a different opinion, which makes the book more interesting for me.

I feel that when the books touch this specific point it makes them more interesting, they create a more engaging story, something that is not simple or flat, but a story where we get something really valuable, personally I love the books where they show us a villain, and as the story goes by they touch his life, why he is like that, the background of his character and how he got to that point, the development of the villains many times is equal, or better than the main character, I'm a fan of these cases.

Obviously this in particular makes me more curious about the book, more eager to read it and to continue, I love this combination in books.

BUen post , saludos.

Sorry about the writers block, I'm happy you're back to writing again and what a way to start... Your entry says a lot about your love for reading.

You move around when you read? That's funny but cool and unique. What's your favorite book?

All the best in the contest

Reading when you are stressed is very understandable like I would say books are an escape from reality.
