Writing help

  • A free app: Grammarly. A lot of us are not native English speakers and I am finding it a helpful app. It will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. Remember that it is not always right -especially if you use complex sentence structures. Here is the link

  • Remember The Most Dangerous Writing App. You set the time - 5 min - and start typing. Don’t stop!!! It will destroy what you wrote if you stop for more than 3 seconds - and backspace does not count as writing on the app. If you are prone to stop and think - this app forces you to keep going. You can make corrections after the 5 minutes are over.

  • A timer. Egg timer is a free tool you can use on your desktop to set a time. This is useful for our freewrites or if you want to work in blocks of time and then take a break. Here is the link

Education is a right in any civilized country. But I am really concerned that despite the fact that many people have access to free education, have used it, have graduated as professionals and pursue their careers (some have not), they continue to have such a low cultural level.

They actually waste that right. All the resources invested in the education of that person have been a waste of time. Because what was the use of educating a being for 10 or 15 years who later demonstrates his lack of education on a day-to-day basis with bad manners, distorting the language in oral and written form, promoting ignorance, the tacky, the ordinary, what It is rude and marginal, all those years of education were useless, because as the wise grandparents around these parts say: He went through education but education did not go through him.

It is sad that there are so many people in the world clamoring to be able to study and those who are not really going to take advantage of it are given the opportunity.

This is my participation for the 5 minutes of freewriting.
