Greetings, dear fellow members of the hive. This is my first publication in this #family-friends community, for which I express my gratitude to be able to share with you, but not before wishing you a Happy and Joyous Year 2024.
Today I come to share with you a series of photographs that illustrate pleasant moments shared with family, friends and close people, before the end of the year 2023.
It is said that there are no photographs of the best moments. However, when we usually share with friends, family, co-workers and close ones a moment that transcends the routine, we usually seek to take a picture to share on social networks or simply to remember.
Well, the month of December is one of the seasons in which we get away from work and personal commitments to share more pleasantly with the people around us. That is why I am sharing some of the photographs that summarize my December experiences.
Until December 16, I was working on the chores independent of the formal workday, since I had already been free from it since the first week of December.
From that moment on, I organized everything related to my academic obligations in order to have time to share with my family. Of course, my priority was to go to my parents' house.
For this year, together with my partner, we planned to go for one of the holidays. On December 22nd we arranged to go there. It is the place where I spent my childhood. During the three days I spent there I was able to share with my dad, mom and siblings. With my mom we prepared the hallacas, I made for the first time cream punch, we went out on the night of December 24 to see the burning of gunpowder. Since it is a high place, it is possible to observe the lights and fireworks coming from several neighboring towns. Finally, we returned on the 26th to our place of residence, if I am not mistaken.
I miss those family moments so much, they are priceless.
On December 27th we had the opportunity to share a lunch and a pool party with some of my partner's family members and co-workers. The kids had a great time. One of the things I liked the most was being able to share with one of my friends from college and the mother and sister of another of them, who are now part of the work team. It is nice to be able to have that closeness with such special people. I hope that soon we can repeat pleasant experiences like this one.
Finally, on December 31, we organized a family dinner at home, where we live. For this Christmas season we did not prepare hallacas, so we ordered them in advance. We also ordered a ham bread from a friend, which was very delicious by the way. We had dinner and waited until midnight to give each other the traditional New Year's hug.
At that time we left for my partner's aunt's house, we looked for her and her granddaughter to go to another relative's house. There we shared a couple of hours and then, at dawn, we went back to sleep.
That day, January 1st, after having rested, we decided to go for a walk, without a planned destination. On the way, my father-in-law decided to look for a friend of his to accompany us. Finally, we went to Peribeca, a touristy and picturesque town in the state of Táchira. There we walked for a while through the streets of the town, entered the church (it is the first time I see it open) and tasted some delicious cachapas of tender corn.
From there we decided to continue the tour. Although we could see gray clouds in the sky, we decided to travel to Borotá, a town known as the city of fog. It was cold and the fog flooded the road. It was like a wasteland. I loved the trip. We arrived in town, but there was no atmosphere to stay for a while. Even the eating establishments we saw were closed. There were only people in a few liquor stores. We turned around and headed back.
And thus ended a season of beautiful experiences and memories.

Un saludo, estimados compañeros de la colmena. Esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad #family-friends, por lo cual expreso mi gratitud al poder compartir con ustedes, no sin antes desearles un Feliz y Venturoso Año 2024.
Hoy vengo a compartirles una serie de fotografías que ilustran momentos gratos compartidos junto a familiares, amigos y personas allegadas, antes de finalizar el año 2023.
Por allí dicen que de los mejores momentos no existen fotografías. Sin embargo, cuando solemos compartir con amigos, familiares, compañeros de trabajo y allegados algún momento que trascienda la rutina, por lo general, buscamos hacernos una imagen para compartir en redes sociales o simplemente para el recuerdo.
Pues bien, el mes de diciembre constituye una de las temporadas en las que nos alejamos un poco de los quehaceres laborales y compromisos personales para compartir de manera más grata con las personas que nos rodean. Es por ello que, comparto algunas de las fotografías que resumen mis vivencias decembrinas.
Hasta el día 16 de diciembre estuve trabajando de en los quehaceres independientes de la jornada formal de trabajo, pues de esta ya había librado desde la primera semana de diciembre.
A partir de ese momento, organicé todo lo relacionado a mis obligaciones en lo académico para disponer del tiempo para compartir en familia. Por su puesto que, mi prioridad era ir a casa de mis padres.
Para este año, junto a mi pareja, planificamos ir para una de las fechas festivas. El dia 22 de diciembre arreglamos todo para ir al lugar. Es el sitio donde pasé mi infancia. Durante los tres días que pasé allí pude compartir con mi papá, mi mamá y hermanos. Con mi mamá preparamos las hallacas, hice por primera vez ponche crema, salimos en la noche del 24 de diciembre a ver la quema de pólvora. Por ser un lugar alto es posible observar las luces y fuegos artificiales provenientes de varias poblaciones aledañas. Finalmente, regresamos el 26 al lugar de residencia, si no me equivoco.
Extraño mucho esos momentos en familia, son invaluables.
El día 27 de diciembre tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir con compañeros del trabajo alterno y algunos familiares de mi pareja en un almuerzo y piscinada. Los niños se divirtieron bastante. Una de las cosas que más me gustó fue el poder compartir con una de mis amigas de la universidad y la mamá y hermana de otra de ellas, quienes ahora forman parte del equipo de trabajo. Es grato poder tener esa cercanía con personas tan especiales. Espero que pronto podamos repetir experiencias gratas como esta.
Finalmente, el 31 de diciembre, organizamos en casa, donde residimos, la cena familiar. Para esta temporada decembrina no se prepararon hallacas, asi que las encargamos con anticipación. También encargamos un pan de jamón a una amiga, el cual estaba muy delicioso por cierto. Cenamos y esperamos a la medianoche para darnos el tradicional abrazo de año nuevo.
A esa hora salimos a casa de la tia de mi pareja, la buscamos a ella y a su nieta para ir a casa de otro familiar. Allá compartimos un par de horas y luego, en la madrugada, regresamos a dormir.
Ese día, primero de enero, luego de haber descansado, decidimos salir de paseo, sin un destino planificado. En el camino mi suegro decidió buscar a un amigo suyo para que nos acompañara. Finalmente, fuimos a Peribeca, un pueblito turístico y pintoresco del estado Táchira. Alli caminamos un rato por las calles del pueblito, entramos a la iglesia (es la primera vez que la veo abierta) y degustamos unas deliciosas cachapas de maiz tierno.
De allí decidimos continuar el recorrido. Pese a que se veian nubes grises en el cielo, decidimos emprender viaje hacia Borotá, una población conocida como la ciudad de la niebla. Hacía frío y la neblina inundaba la carretera. Era como un páramo. Me encantó el viaje. Llegamos al pueblo, pero no había ambiente para quedarnos un rato. Incluso los establecimientos de comida que vimos estaban cerrados. Solo se veian personas en algunas licorerías. Dimos la vuelta y nos regresamos.
Y de esa manera, culminó una temporada de bonitas experiencias y recuerdos.
