Comencé Dibujando el molde de un modelo que ví por Internet. Luego corté cada pieza en la tela que escogí para trabajar que fue un raso. Fueron dos piezas delanteras, una trasera, mangas, lazo y bolsillos.

I started by drawing the mold of a model I saw on the Internet. Then I cut each piece in the fabric I chose to work with, which was a satin. There were two front pieces, a back piece, sleeves, bow and pockets.

Fui uniendo las piezas totalmente a mano con puntada recta y como el raso se hilacha mucho remate con ayuda de un encendedor o yesquero para eliminar las hilachas. Primero hice las terminaciones delanteras en cada pieza delantera, luego pegué hombros y mangas, pase costura luego por los costados, cosí los bolsillo a las piezas delanteras y ya tenía armado el vestido. Cosí la tira para el lazo, Pasé la plancha para acentuar las costuras.

I joined the pieces completely by hand with a straight stitch and as the satin is very threaded I finished it off with the help of a lighter or tinder to eliminate the threads. First I made the front ends on each front piece, then I glued shoulders and sleeves, then I sewed the sides, sewed the pockets to the front pieces and the dress was ready. I sewed the ribbon for the bow, I ironed to accentuate the seams.

Me entretuve tanto creando este diseño que pensé que como la temática de la boda es la playa, un sombrero tipo pavita no estaría mal, así que con un poco de fieltro ya que es más duro que el raso con el que estaba trabajando quedaría bien. Corte tres piezas y armé el sombrero. Los accesorios no debían ser muy exagerados así que tomé un poco de perlas en rosa claro y le realicé un collar y en la muñeca una pequeña flor en tela y elástico.

I had so much fun creating this design that I thought that since the theme of the wedding is the beach, a turkey hat wouldn't be bad, so with a little bit of felt since it is harder than the satin I was working with, it would look good. I cut three pieces and assembled the hat. The accessories should not be too exaggerated so I took some pearls in light pink and made a necklace and on the wrist a small flower in fabric and elastic.

Y así quedó este lindo outfit playero de boda para que mis amigas @jineska que es a la que le encantan las túnicas y mi amiga @wendyth16 que le fascina la playa se animen y tomen esta opción para su momento especial jajaja.

And so was this cute beach wedding outfit so that my friends @jineska who loves tunics and my friend @wendyth16 who loves the beach can take this option for their special moment hahaha.

Así me despido amigos esperando les haya gustado mi presentación a este maravillosos concurso. Como añadido le hice un bolso playero para que barbie llevara sus cositas.

Este proyecto me ha encantado, la escogencia de la tela para un trabajo así pequeño no lo volvería a hacer, optaría por otra, porque se corre mucho y las hilachas son un tema, más en piezas tan pequeñas se hace más difícil el trabajo. Por otro lado nunca había hecho una túnica y con este inicio en miniatura ya me animo más a que sí puedo hacerlas. Como me siento con el resultado? Feliz, conforme la verdad el resultado final me ha gustado muchísimo. Espero que ha ustedes también les agrade.

So I say goodbye friends hoping you liked my presentation to this wonderful contest. As an addition I made a beach bag for barbie to carry her things.

I loved this project, the choice of fabric for such a small work I would not do it again, I would opt for another, because it runs a lot and the lint is an issue, more in such small pieces makes it more difficult to work. On the other hand I had never made a tunic and with this miniature start I am more encouraged that I can make them. How do I feel about the result? Happy, as the truth is that I really liked the final result. I hope you like it too.
